An unlisted change:
Balthazar's Spirit (smiting) now gives a massive amount of energy (up into the 20's, depending on level) per hit instead of a simple +1. Its way overpowered now...any ele getting hit will have boundless energy. I cant imagine what possessed Anet to do this...

I pretty sure something's been done to 'Energy Burn' as well, but can't quite put my finger on it yet...

The bug with Balthazar's Spirit has been fixed. My monk got 25 energy from each hit, and the necro, with zero point in Smiting Prayer, got 10 energy per hit. Now it's back to 1 energy per hit.

I think this is a glitch considering the skill doesnt show giving extra energy. AND there is a new build available(according to anet). But i refuse to dl it as of right now cause farming as many ice imps and/or ice golems as i can aggro. Protective Bond + Mantra of Resolve + this glitch = still +14 energy per hit. and an uninterruptable, -2 dmg 55 monk.

My guess is that they made it so that the more points you have in smiting the more energy you get (like adrenaline).
But whoever messed that up realized it and fixed it :P

I do hope they forced people to download the update before the norm 24r period. If not there will now be numerous 55r's piliging UW. (oh well nothing new with that I guess) :)

Ok, it says they are outside of Lions Arch, but where can I find them? I don't care if they give me a quest or not, I just need some closure!

Um. I just went looking for them and found them rather quickly. The live next to Miraba (the one you talk to in the quest Duties of a Lionguard).

Yeah Guild Wiki talked about that glitch. It also mentioned that there is now a possiblity of +5 energy weapons dropping. I guess HOD swords aren't going to be much in demand anymore.

Whats more interesting I just went and completed the Borlis pass bonus... yet it still appears on the map that I havnt completed it... maybe we need to complete the mission aswell to get the bonus now, I guess this stops people from doing "Bonus only" ^_^

This has always applied, even to the Prophecies Campaign, but there will never be a monthly charge for Guild Wars or any of its additions. The reason they have this is to cover themselves (plus there is the option of adding a capmpaign that is charged monthly for, but very unlikely), but they will never add a monthly fee to GW:P or GW:F as it is probably the biggest pulling point to get people starting to play Guild Wars in the first place.

sure but once everyone has got a copy how do they pay for the servers? i read the contract every time it changes i can assure you this is the biggest change ive seen so far. tho the web site has allways been changeable also contract has allways been changeable.
covering themselves i would say is more allong the lines of "any reason whatsoever" and i trust in the judgement of nc soft not to abuse this and in my experience they have been fair and maintain there reputation among the players verry well.
this however as a contract and bear in mind contracts are leagally binding and where money comes into a contract things become a little more seriouse for me.
i dont mind them having the right to end my account but charging me in advance with the leagally avised notice of 30 days on a changeable method of notice... nah im not installing my expansion when it arrives because installing it is acceptance part of the alterable contract that so far i have agreed to.
well at least untill i find the part of the website that holds the pricing scheeme and have it linked im emailing them to ensure that should they change the website with the pricing scheem that they inform me via email what its changing too. not that i dont trust anyone or that im unduely paranoid ... well actually yes it is that i dont trust anyone and yes i am unduely paranoid

Dont worry, i stayed in all night and i woke up to a "lost connection to GW" and i have other online things running that did not loose connection, so i know it wasnt just my internet.
