I have a major dilema, I really want to pre order guild wars so that i can get the to items and other stuff, but i don't know the system requirements and my parents probably won't let me have that on the comp along with gw if factions is like 2gb.
Questions
1)if i order the game on the internet and get a code, will the progress i make in the preview event be saved
2)If i preorder then i know i get the 24 hours but then after that do i have to wait for the game to get to my house b4 i can play?
3)To your knowledge, is it possible to install factions as an expansion then take the old gw off my comp? or does it still need to stay there
4)I like the characters that i have now so I don't really want to install this as a stand alone game and get rid of the old gw!!!!!
ARGHHHH WHY CAN"T STUPID ANET JUST REALEASE SPECS FOR THE GAME!!!!

the preview event stuff u did wont be carried over to factions
you can play the head start with just preorder but need retail game to play after that
Im not sure about #3
If you install factions then you wouldnt have to get rid of your old characters if you link them or dont or whatever.
Any store that sells the preorder would let you pick it up there aswell unless its a purely online store but places like best buy target eb games game stop and all that will have a pre order and on the 28th will let you pick up factions

Im pretty sure that u can install factions and take GW off after you linked your chars, your chars will still be there, but u might not be able to go to tyria

I went to the eb games website then called them, the tech guy said that if i preordered gw then i couldn't pick it up instore tommorow,
r u saying that i could preorder then pick up instore on friday?

As far as I'm aware the majority of Factions content is already on your computer, it wont be a seperate file, you will just need to unlock it by having the retail version.
