Could someone tell me if you can create assassins or ritualists in prophecies now? I wasnted to do that yesterday, but they wouldn't let me in the head start. I'd check myself, but I'm at work...

So, you cannot make assassins or ritualists and take them through the prophecies campaign from lvl 1? Well, that's another Factions let down for me then.

I don't quite see how your dissapointment has anything to do with factions. It sounds to me like you were hoping that along with the new game release Anet would do a massive makeover on Prophecies too. Of course it would be nice to be able to play through prohecies with new professions but do you really want to finish it all over AGAIN when you have a whole new setting to play through. I've noticed a lot of your posts are pretty negative about the new game, isn't there anything you actually like about it? If not, maybe you should try and get your money back and buy a different game.
Just a thought.
P.S. I didn't mean to flame or anything, just wanted you to see all the positives too = )

Well, I've got my Asassin back to Ascalon, and I can start the prohecies Missions and do the early skills quest...
I didn't expect to be able to do pre-searing with Assassins or Ritualists, as it's a Canthan based profession, with Canthan trainers etc... Nobody in Tyria has the ability to teach the arts of this foreign continent. Except perhaps Mhenlo, who was a student of Master Togo, but he already spends his time teaching Monks.

So you are saying that you've finished the game with all 30 (?) Profession combos and now, despite the fact there is a brand new release which no matter how hard core you are, you have NOT finished even once, you still want to go through presearing with the two new classes.
In an aside I am just wondering if there is a "Pre-Searing" Cantha for players new to the franchise?
Anyways, I still think you seem a bit disgruntled and should try and enjoy yourself more, but hey this is what freedom of expression is about right.

Presearing is my favorite area of the whole game. While I have not probably done all the combinations in my play time since I started in October of 2004 (World Beta Events till release) I still want to be able to take and assassin and a ritualist through presearing.
The monastary is a kinda of cantha presearing/tutorial for new players, but it's not the same.
Call me sick, demented, disgrutled, whatever, I don't care. I just like presearing ascalon THAT much.

I don't know if you can or not. You can't do it with the headstart, and that I guess is because you don't have a retail key. I just bought an SE copy of Factions to stick on my second account, I guess we'll see with that. ^^

I'm yet to find out as I preordered CE and its not coming till some time at the start of May.
Hope you can, presearing would rock as Ritualist or Assasian :D

It makes perfect sense that you would want to take a Ritualist and Assassin through presearing, hell I want to. I don't understand why you got jumped for saying that you were disappointed about not being able to do presearing with the two new classes.
