RE: Electric Melee anyone?

I don’t know, will it be any different from the Energy? Now I like the way the brute looked with the robotic feet and all, but besides that what is the point.

I wonder if any of the new powers or toons is going to be worth the trouble. I am just looking for the destructible environments and new Map.

RE: Electric Melee anyone?

Electric is an ALL energy set. No smashing damage, so the damage type is a little more specific. Plus, there will be a lot of Endurance Drain powers in it as well. That's the side effect of electricity.

I'm leaning towards checking out the Electric Brute just for the end drain possibilities...***darn MU***

So far there seem to be a few problems with ACC, but never having played a brute before I can't comment on the armour or damage.

Havoc Punch for one does smashing, not sure about other attacks.

RE: Electric Melee anyone?

Yeah, I saw that yesterday when I was goofing around with it. (the smashing damage thing)

I think the main difference is going to be the whole endurance drain thing. The thing is, most baddies will be dead before the endurance drain takes a real effect, unless you enhance it up. It'll be interesting anyway, to try out.

Well as someone who has played all AT types of the Brute,
I looooooove Electric Melee and armor. The damage from the Electric melee is massivie as well as cool looking. I am only at lvl 7 with my electric brute, but so far she rocks socks....

RE: Electric Melee anyone?

All I know is, at around level 6, electric melee gets an attack with the animation of Incadescent Strike/Total Focus. That was the deciding factor for me

All the other brutes I have tried have bored me to sleep, but electricity has hooked me. 'Nuff said.
