Well I decided to take a break from my new character and start doing the missions from Kaineng Center. So the first quest called "Welcome to Cantha" brought me to the mission area called the Vizunah Square. Well I joined a group as a bonder. So the mission started all wierd and about 2 minutes into it another group of 8 people show up! Holy Shizzle it was freaking AWESOME!!!!

I beleive he's talking about missions, not alliance battles. And yes, i remember seeing something about certain missions having multiple TEAMS(coulda been just 2 teams), and seeing as 8 is the highest per team, 16 sounds right.

What?? You got joined by another group on that mission?? I had to do it with my group alone. Just 8 people. And on the part where there are MASSIVE amounts of those infected creeps things we got totally OWNED.

It was 2 teams of 8, but they didnt show up as Allies on the Party window. But it was a massive battle. I wish I had taken a screenshot thought.

Yeah, that why the mission countdown took 2 minutes. And it was crazy when all those things were jumping out of the sewers. It was like something in a horror movie, kinda scary Resident Evil style.

The mission is called Vizunah Squere (local Quarters) or (foreigner Quarters)
Foregner quarters is the easyest one, This is where characters from the original campain meet up to do the mission, your job is to protect Mehlno on his way to meet up with Togo (DO NOT RUN PAST THE ENEMIES TO HELP THE LOCAL TEAM), as Mehlno will get stuck and the whole mission gets bugged "uncompleatable", Just pray the locals can keep Togo alive long enugh to your team to arrive..... And a little hint bring a MM it really helps a lot....
The local quarters are way harder as 95% of the locals are assasins or Ritualist, it's almost impossible to find a decent team, and considering 80% dosent eaven got a decent armor in lack of materials to craft one, you are probably better off with a cuple of hench Sadly :(, Set your skills to protect your team, yourself and Togo long enugh for the forigners to arrive.....
After that you will end up as a 16 member team to take on some hordes of mobs and bosses, and as posted before you can only see your own team in the party window, but the hench hovewer will work as joined.
The bug will probably be fixed soon, but ask before you start running if anyone know....

be careful, i have heard of people sitting back, and during the battles, picking up good drops that people havent had time to retrieve yet. i.e., stealing drops

K first of all u want to get your "Tyria Char" to Cantha u can do this by talking to sergio in lions arch (hes on top of the stairs)
The go trough the portal on the right and just outside u will find mhenlo talk to him ( u cant see him on my screen but thats because i did the quest but believe me hes there:) )
after this go back into lions arch and go to the "beach" in lions arch where u will find Jaiju Tai, talk to her and u will be transported to cantha :)
Once arrived u should be able to accept the quest right away

thats the thing i did get to kaineg and everthing like that but there was NO quest to accept or anything to get to vizunah square.. and there is no primary quests in kaineng and i was still on preorder so i need to buy factions now once i get the money until i can find it lol..

Yep I had a friend who went IDS farming and he got a sword drop but died in the process. A couple of people who were in the party with him decided to wait the time limit and greabbed the sword and then left him their dead. He got screen shots of them telling him touch luck and sent to ANet. Anyway he no longers goes with other people who have an Id10t problem.

is it a quest or a mission cuz i remember that primary quest which i did with henchies was pretty easy.

its an awesome mission. there is a "local" mission and a "foreign" mission. people that made their characters in the factions campaign are in the local and if you brought over your char from prophecies youre a foreign.
