Has anyone noticed that people have this knee jerk reaction in-game (and here apparently) to just begin almost demanding answers (All Caps title) for questions that are fairly easy to answer with just a little leg work.
Yes, I was momentarily puzzled by Monistary Credits and Imperial Commendations when I first got them but it took me all of 45 seconds to look around and find the answer myself.
Where do people believe the answers for these question come from? If I worked to answer a question on my on then clearly the answer is attainable and so why are you so special that you don't need to try and answer it yourself?
That being said, the quest reward items (Monistary Credits, Imperial Commendations and later Amber Chunks) can be traded to NPCs named XXXX Quartermaster where XXXX is the first part of the item name (in the case of the first two items atleast). You are rewarded with these items in quests which you first attain in the town where the Quartermasters reside so it's not a huge stretch to figure this out on your own.
These items can be traded for basic items that we all need to buy (Bags, Pouches, Kits, etc.) and basically seem to serve the purpose of allowing us an easy way to get nearly required items without blowing gold on them (For instance a Rune of Holding [500g] can be attained for 3 Monistary Credits, pretty nice IMHO). So there you have it... an overly elaborate answer for an underly elaborate and easily answered (if you had done some leg work) question.
Well next time i'll let you know when i acctually care to hear what you have to say. i asked a simple question needing a simple answer so if your not going to just answer then dont answer next time. I dont understand why people have to be a**holes when it comes to asking a simple question, and if you have a problem with the question, maybe you think its a stupid question, then dont answer.
I think the problem was that you posted it in all caps. Most people find that pretty obnoxious. If you look at it like that, it would seem like this 'simple question' is extremely important, when in fact, it probably doesn't really affect the game for you that much at all. And considering that he figured it out very quickly, he doesn't understand why you couldn't do so, and had to 'shout' your question on the forums. No need to get mad at him, he wasn't even really upbraiding you for it.
Obviously you do care what he has to say otherwise you wouldnt have posted the topic....
Im just dlin all the factions stuff right now so:
Imperial Commendation: A recognition from an official that would either be the emperor or affiliated to the emperor in some way.

what's wrong with asking questions?
The forum is used to post questions and have them answered, if you think its a dumb question or what not, don't answer it or don't make a post arguing about it, it makes the forum look trashy.
He asked a slightly unnecessary question, got a little more than was perhaps necessary for it, got a little angry, though I've seen MUCH worse, and then he apologised.
How many people you know actually apologise these days?

You shouldn't put down others when they need help? If your going to put someone else down to feel good by making remarks that have no integraty just to feel like u have an internet fan base than I truly feel sorry for you. Try inspiring positivity and you will be suprised how much better you feel. :) V

Uh, dude... look at the date. this post was about a month old. whatever problem there was has probably been solved, so there's really no need to continue it. But w/e, everyone's opinion counts :)
Go to someplace like "Sunspear Great Hall" and trade them in with one of the QuarterMasters there for items. Ignore the others who like to berate you for asking a question, they probably belong to a terrorist group and think its funny. The only stupid question is the one that remains unasked.
Welcome to GameAmp, firstly. ^^ And talking about bringing up the dead. x.x When this thread was made, it was talking about the Imperial Commendations, gotten by doing quests in the Kaineng City area of Factions. They have no place in Elona. ^^
Why are people always bringing dead 3-4-5months posts alive.. Look at the date, then think: This I´m going to post is it so important that i need a so old post to post it in. AND.... Theres a button so you can make a NEW POST by yourself :D.
Owen just said what we were all thinking, about time IMO.

Seriously though, look at the date of the last post in a thread before you make a new one. If it's pretty old, try not to bring it back.
It did what I thought it would do, got alot of post about the date. If you take time to notice though, people get these links from web searches even though they are three months old or older. So someone is looking for answers to the same question and being directed to here.
