i just got factions...to link to my original account do i just use the access key and add it to my account?

After installing factions, bring up Guildwars and click the link : Create Account or Add Access Key.
If you're linking the accounts you select the option that requires you to enter your current accounts username and password. From here its self-explanatory...or rather, the screens will tell you what to do.
