Tyrian Grandmaster Cartographer

So, since the release of the titles, my guild leader has become obessessed with clearing the entire map and getting the highest rank. He is currently at 85%, and is having trouble figuring out where the rest is. So I was wondering, do Sorrow's Furnace, the Underworld, and Fissure of Woe count towards that award? Because he has never been to any of those, and that could explain where the large portion of uncleared map is.

SF will, no doubt in my mind about that, and i would assume that UW and FoW would count aswell.

I don't think they count, as there is no actual map for those to uncover, in a manner of speaking.

Try in Ascalon in the Middle of the Tar Lake for Althea's Ashes.

SF, UW, and FoW. Don't Count.

has he made sure he has gone everywhere he can think, i.e dragons gullet and around the jungle area there is a lot of space there he might not have been to.

Currently, I'm on 89.7% and I can't find the last .3 to get my Cartographer title. That's all I care for, the rest just seems like too much work lol.

EDIT:

If anyone would like to explore the Icedome zone north of Ice Caves of Sorrow, I'd be happy to come along. Running or Fighting, doesn't matter.

What a great waste of a post Magnaduck.

I'm currently sitting at 96% and can think of at least 1% more that I could uncover. The problems for me arise at Ascalon arena, Yak's arena, Drok's arena, Amnoon Arena, etc.

I think it was a bad move on ANet's part to not link every title across the account. If these were supposed to compete with rank then it should be as global as rank is.

I'm at 80.6% and I know for a fact I still have plenty of room to go. Make sure that you run your character around the far edges of EVERYWHERE. I went from 72.6 to 80.6 when they implimented it since I couldn't play the factions the night-before, I explored :(

I got up to LA and cleared everything possible. Remember that shield missions also count as map space. You gotta run ont he far edges of each mission too. Annoying but if you want 100% that's what will be needed heh.

89.4%....i just don't like exploring the southern shiverpeaks lol...
it's tedious but for some reason i want the title.

i am at 99.2% but still i can think of a few places to go, like THK, abbaddons and Ice caves missions, the most irritating places are where you reach water/beach, cos you cant really see if you did those places or not.

and huging mountains get boring really fast :P

i wish they would update the world map on this site cos its incomplete by a long shot
