| Need suggestions on making a new character! |

allright i have 4 characters lvl 16+ And none of them are tickling my fancy per say. I do like scrappers but im open minded. Tell what you guys think would be a uber Toon that i wouldnt get tired of after lvl 16. I just started a Spines/Invul character last night that seems cool atm. But here are my toons i have currently.
TK-71 lvl 22 Dark/regen scrapper
DreamCat lvl 17 empathy/psy defender
BattleCattle lvl 13 Invul/energy Tanker
Xylo lvl 15 Ma/regen scrapper
TK-625 lvl 15 energy/device blaster

It really depends on you... I could suggest something I really like but something you may not really think suits you. So it depends on your playstyle... Do you like to be in the thick of things? Or do you prefer to be the support for the team? Do you wanna do more solo or in teams? etc etc
This is my suggestion... Make completely different characters. For example, I have one of each AT, each one with different powersets and origins (mostly). Mix and match powersets... There's so many character slots in CoH that you just need to experiment.
I like my Scrapper and play him most, but I also have a Inv/SuperStrenght Tanker, a Healer/Defender, a Debuff/Support Defender, a Device Blaster, a Mind Controller, etc...
Just keep mixing and matching is my real suggestion until you find something you like.

Well i like to solo most of the time, and just being able to run rampant would rock. I really like the secondary abilities from the defender line radiation, with the neutrino bolt and such. But im guessing that a defender would never have a massive attack power.

i have a bit of advice. if you make a blaster, don't give him short distance powers. i was teamed up yesterday and there was this electric blaster who was more of an electric tanker. kept running over to the mob and punching, and he kept jumping all over and running away so i couldn't heal him AND the party at the same time. blasters with short distanced powers are pretty pointless and useless.
"If i cared I'd send a card, "Dear Mickey, Happy Birthday. Love George." But I don't! Why? Don't give a s**t. No wonder nobody takes our country seriously. We celebrate the birthday of an imaginary rodent.

Whoa TK why you want to make another character for, TK-71 is friggin awesome. Ive teamed with him many times and seen him do nothing but lay down the spank! Well just my opinion!

Hey I have a Shadow/Regen Scrapper, and I LOVE using him, I have only died once in 11 levels
 I taste like Bread.
I am a staple in almost everyone's diet. Friends like me are a complement to any other friends I get on with almost everyone, remaining mostly in the background, but providing substance when it would otherwise be lacking. What Flavour Are You?

Can anyone tell me if a Defender with the secondary of radiation blast can be a high dmg character if say i 6 slotted the attack powers? That is my favorite offensive set in the game. Thanks

I tried a Radiation Defender. Radiation, from what I've played, is not incredibly powerful. Neutrino Bolt will probably be your main concern. It's a very quick blast, and low endurance cost of course. If you maxed it with 6 damage SO's? Yeah, I see it being worth it. The other powers are good, too.

Oh, um, I don't know about Radiation for a primary though. I... didn't like it, the AoE powers didn't like my endurance bar... Take Kinetics, you practically get two travel pools within it (Siphon Speed, and that other power that gives everyone nearby Super Jump).

Radiation Primary isnt worth it, i have a defender with dark primary and radiation secondary and hes more powerful than the blaster i had. trust me in saying it does kick a lot of arse, but it also has the benefit of reducing enemy defenses by a noticable ammount. This is the kinda thing for those that dont like to group tho, because your supporting yourself and no one else really.

Well i made a emp/rad defender yesterday and i liked it alot, but the Dark/Rad thing sounds like a very good idea also. But i was just thinking about the endurance aura and 6 slotted hasten would make me a ChainGun that never run out of ammo, lol. Thank all of you so far for your suggestions.

I have a dark/psi defender at the moment and she's quite fun. Not many things have resistance to psi powers and dark powers are just nifty. :)
My gravity/rad controller was great too...Propel summons forth enourmous objects and lobs them at the enemy. I don't care what people say about the grav power set. Best. Power. Ever. :)
Constantly trying out new powersets/ATs is always good fun, I'd heartily recommend it, it keeps things challenging.
Of course, in saying that, I rolled up another scrapper last night... >_< d'oh! :)

HazCat is a Empathy / Rad defender. Seems to be really good atm, and yea hasten and endurance aura will make her a ChainGun, lol i like that phrase TK lol

I have a Rad/Rad Defender and it does kick ass. The primary set is all pretty much debuff powers, and trust me it shows if you slot them good (which means you'll sacrifice some slots for your attacks, but face it: You're a defender :P).
With Accelerate Metabolism,the 2 debuff radiation powers, and healing aura, I never have a problem finding a team.
