| annoying migraine mesmers. |

so like, I've run into a alot of migraine mesmers at HA lately as a monk, and damn they are annoying.. so I was wondeirng, what do you guys do against them?

There really isnt much that you can do agains them since they are the counter-class to monks. All you can do is de-hex yourself quickly or hope another monk on the team can cover for you if you cant heal. There are little tricks that you can do to fight off mesmers like bright weapons that increase casting time and recharge rate or offhands that hide energy (-5 offhands) but other than that you just have to take their attacks. you cant really kite away from them or dodge their attacks either (despite what some may believe where kiting is the 100% solution to everything). If your team is strong and plays well together then the mesmers will be taken down fairly quickly anyway. If you are in a PUG then..well..you're in trouble.

yes, I feared it was like this.. I hoped there was some uber trick that I didn't know about, but ahwell ^^

The mursaat have covered the vulcano with potent anti-magics. I can feel them draining my power away even now.

There is..kind of.. if you know that you are the monk..and you know that they are migraine mesmers..try to anticipate the migraine and de-hex yourself quickly.
Edit: or you can work out a system with your team if it isnt a PUG..when your team is targeting the mesmer have them call out the mesmer's attack if they are using migrane that way you know it's coming and you can target self and have the mouse on your hex-removal skill.

There is also a very good other solution to it..
all you need is Contemplation of Purity!
with two enchants on you (ex, channeling, mantra of recall, divine boon and so on) you can remove two hexes and two conditions!! and you can't really be interrupted while doing it because it only takes 1/2 second!
and when it is recharged again, their hexes should be recharged, and you just start all over!
