Now that Lineage 2 has progressed almost all the way through C-1 and the bugs are being worked out slowly but surely, lets see what you the player has to say about the PvP system. Feel free to post you ideas here in these forums.

Whoa! Little outdated as far as comments go. But, in the event someone is looking, I'll post my comments. PVP..HMM. Well, I'd have to say that, at this point, with the changes made in C2, PVP is still pretty much the same. Although, it seems Dagger-users are a little over-powered with their Might Mortal SA. Other than that, PVP has remained consistent in my opinion. I will tell you that, being a Phantom Ranger, PVP is certainly a challenge. Of course, we own in PVP but that lack of CON makes staying alive an effort. I fought in the Coliseum the other day for the first time. It was great. Lots of people running around picking random targets and killing everyone they could before falling to some other ambitious combatant. If you are looking for PVP without the guilt, go to the Coliseum. I think we can expect to see some great things regarding PVP in the coming Chronicle. With the addition of Combat Will Points (CP) and other adjustments to the overall dynamic, C3 will change the face of PVP and Lineage from now on. Just gotta wait until Late-April. :P

I think it's a little unfair.People who have karma kill others for fun.That's very annoying.But the worst is that you lose xp.LOSING xp is the worst thing in pvp battles.

I believe that's true! I mean while you run a hill someone comes kills ya and.... you don't have items and EXP!!

PvP is usefull for testing ur char's limits...and the proud of a well builded char...
dont tell me that u wouldn't be proud if u beat one who is with 10... lvl more that u
if used corectelly it can get u a nice armor and weapon in no-time

But some stupid jerks kill for fun and you drop your hole inventory(sorry for language) and lose EXP.!!! I don't think that that's always funny.

Big lvled players,it is true are killing for fan.That is because of geting bored.Personally, I have 253/123 pvp.that means 123 times karma.But when I kill someone always I return the lost items, because when I was little I didn't enjoy someone steeling my inventory.

Some people kill for fun, they get karma. When they kill more people the get more karma and then more and more!!!! Why someone would like to get karma?

TAKING KARMA IS LIKE TESTING YOUR ABILITIES. NOW I HAVE 144O KARMA . I KILL SOMEONE WHEN SOME OTHER CHILD TELLS ME. THE ONE I KILL YESTERDAY WAS AT RUINS OF DESPAIR AND WAS USING HEAL AND BUFS ON OTHER CHILDS CREEPS.I USED A SOULSHOT AND I KILL HIM WITH A HIT OF MY BOOK!HE WAS DESERVING THAT!

ACTUALLY HE WAS 5 LVLs LOWER THAN ME BUT HE JUST FINISHED A BATTLE WITH A ANOTHER PLAYER SO HE HAD LOW HP. I HIT HIM BECAUSE I WANTED FROM HIM TO HIT ME IN ORDER TO NOT GET KARMA , BUT I WAS UNLUCKY!(GRAVON REMEMBER SOMETHING: I AM A SPELLSINGER. THAT MEANS THAT A MAGE CAN EASILY WIN A WARRIOR WHO HAS MORE LVL THAN HIM)

PvP is really what Lineage is about. For me the need to kill monsters is just to get higher in levels earn money, items and get you hero better for PvP's. Don't get me wrong I am not a PvP maniac that goes around and starts it with eveyone. I also go to Arena where I don't lose xp. And I can't wait to get into Castle Sieges.
My clan is currently level 3 and soon hopefully level 4. The leader isn't so happy because he is level 48 and he hasnt learned any skills seens level 40. But at least we take good care of him. When he was level 45 all his euipment got stolen by another member of our clan. He was in our clan for long. He said to out CL let me try your clothes, weapons and jewellary so he did cause we trust each other and the next thing you see him using scroll of escape and quitting the clan.
Anyway our clan is rich and we dressed up the CL again but this time instead of giving him a Stormbringer because thats what he had before, we gave him two so he can up 3 level quick. And when he became level 48 we gave him Samurai Sword and the best C grade shield.
I just hope that hes good in Castle Sieges, I know that he will last and the Dark Panther is really good. I am not worrying about me too much, I will work as I own arena sometimes and I am level 20, well level 20 with ma72, knowledge set, best helmet and boots, and the second best D grade jewellary, the elven one.
I am going to be a SpellHower by the way, oh and tell me if I am going to be really good in caslte sieges and how I should play it. One more thing by the time I am level 40 I will have Kaarmanian or Divine Set whichever one is better(still haven't decided) and I will aslo have Demon Staff or Crystal Staff if I don't have quite enough money for Demon Staff. Plz give me advice on PvP and which clothes is better and how I should play castle sieges, never been in one. ))))
