Some changes are about to take place on the CoH Gameamp site. I understand that in the beginning there are some of you who won't fully understand why they are being made, but in a few months you will understand completely.
The first big change is going to be your Site Manager. It wasn't fair of me to ask Rainah to take over when there is so much going on with the network right now. So, I will be taking over as Site Manager (again) as of today. The other changes will take place slowly over time.
I do want to point out that the new rules that have been put in place will be staying. The siggy rule is one that I think we needed, because there were to many members going a over-board with the length of them. And I am sure everyone on a dial up connection appreciates them being shortened.
If you have not gotten your signature shortened down to 600 by 450 pixels, please do so as soon as possible. If you need time to make another one, please delete the long one that you have and go with out one until your new one is completed. Please remember that the most important thing in a forum topic is the conversation itself. The extremely long siggys cause for a major distraction from what you are actually posting.
I will also continue to enforce the guidelines for what is accepted as submitted content. You must make sure you follow these guidelines. If you do not, and submit something that is below our new standards, it will not be approved. We want to make sure our site has the best info on it possible, presented in the best way for the community to find. The guidelines are not difficult to follow, if you put just a little bit of time into your submissions.
Now I'm not planning on posting a whole bunch of changes and new rules in my first day as SM. I need to get back in touch with the community here, and find out what it is that you are wanting for the site. There are a lot of faces here that I don't know, and that is going to change. You will be seeing lots more of me. And based on what you guys are wanting new rules will be created.
And now it is your turn. Please post all questions, comments, concerns, ect you have about me, about the site, about Gameamp.

I'm just really one small voice and don't know what all is goinging on with the network or what rainah may be otherwise responsible for. But I didn't find any problem with her rules and would like to say, thank you for the time you she did invest while she was manageing. And really any other time as well.

Rainah did a great job stepping in while WarShadow is away. It is unfortunate timing that has ended her reign. With up coming changes on the way her knowledge and abilities will be a great help to the Staff. We may one day be under her tyranny once again.
