Yep. So should Gameamp have an official guild for those who want to play? On a certain server? RPing, or no? If I had my say, it would be RPing, but not super intense stuff, just mostly in character. Plus, it would serve as a nice place to get together, and from what the new newsletter said, it would help any newbies to the forum level better, what with trophies giving bonuses.
So... Yes. Any ideas? Names? Style of leadership?

I love having an official Gameamp guild. There are a lot of things that need to be figured out before the ball can really get rolling though. We have to see who is playing *grin* and of course get a Un-Official Gameamp server picked out.
But a name... a name would be a good thing to get started on.

Names... Names...
I was the guild master of Pneumatic Trough in WoW, but I dunno.
Something fun, like the Cult of Amperi, or something. Make up a deity for a roleplaying guild so you can worship Amperi (obvious reference to Ampy). Something like that.

Well to give you a starting point *grin* the other Gameamp guilds we have are: The Gameamp Guides (GW), Guides of Stormreach (DDO), and um.... well... on WoW they are just now working on getting a guild set up, and on CoH/CoV I beleive that one of the older supergroups that was already created is what is being used.
I do like the reference to Ampy. He is my favorite best buddy!

I like Guides of Stormreach, sounds like a helpful guild, rather than a 'w00 3ndg4m3 pvp lololol' kind of thing.

I'm not overly fond of leet speak myself. And don't worry, I would never have a Gameamp guild w/ a leet speak title.

Ok, so, a name a name...what's in a name. I like ones that sound fantasyish, something that would be more common on a RP guild. Something like:
Wandering Souls of Amp
Imperial Legion of Amp
Arcane Amp Adventurers Guild
Gameamp Explorers Elite
Something like that...
Hmm...the use of amp or gameamp in a guild name doesn't seem to lend it self well to a fantasyish name.

It does make it a bit more difficult. Maybe make a name that has AMP for initials?

I love the idea of you guys setting up a guild for this, yay!
But yeah 'amp' doesn't really fit in fantasy or that matter spellborn.
Maybe better would to use the letters 1st letter of a word and the short would read: AMP?
well not clear I guess, an example:
Ancient Minions of Pestibug
A M P
AMP
It can all be so easy :)

Ok deal, but a little less emphasis on the "Ancient" part. I'm only older than you by 1 year. How about Arcane? I could be an Arcane Minion. :)

I love it! Seeing as Pesti's the dev here, and has been here for a long time, I think it's perfect! Maybe not ancient... I'm 15, not old. Yet. Then again, ancient gives it a sort of ominous tone which is made up for by Pestibug. Plus it makes us sound cool.

How about C.A.M.P. as Chroniclers of AMP?
But I'm not sure if wroking in the name of TCoS into the AMP Guild for TCoS is a necessity. People in game will understand you're a TCoS guild without the reference I suspect ;-)

Is there anyone trying to keep track of ppl that wanna join the amp guild?
You were saying that there isnt really enough ppl to even start talking about the name of it yet.
But is there any way the "guild" could start growing now, before the game even has been released?
For instance, if someone made a site with forums and all that kind of stuff ppl could get a bit organised and a leader and a name can be choosen.
I for one would be interested in joining that kind of "guild". However i´m not capable of leading or creating such a thing.
Maybe a beta tester is a good choise for a start?
What do you guys think?
