Hi,
Just a quick question, Im new to the site and I wondered if Beta testing had been released yet and if so what are the chances of me getting in now or am I too late? Dont hate me, its just a question:)

Hi Cyeber. We don't hate new members, we love them! Welcome to GameAmp.
And as for your question, the game is still a while out. They have not even given a possible release date yet. And beta testing has not started yet. You can't even sign up for anything yet. I recommend you hang out here on our forums and hear from the dev's that are visiting us daily when and how testing will start.

I'll see if I can find a link to the entire thing later - I think it went out over Business Wire so if you monitor that you can probably find it - and post it. If not I can probably type it in but that will definatly have to be later...I'm going to be heading over to the E3 for the rest of the day shortly.

Ahhhhhhhhhhh MID 2007?!!!??! How am I going to wait a year for it?
And on another note, I tried searching for that press release, and I give up for now. An hour of searching is all I can do for anything with out a break. I'll try later again to find it.
How is E3 going for you? You enjoying yourself?

Well what a suprise this is, a forum that responds VERY well to a question asked. I will hang around now and see what the game is like, I dont mind waiting as Im currently beta testing for MS/SOE which is taking up my current 40 hour playing week, Ive been looking for another game to test in beta as the current one Im playing is not as addictive as I thought it may be:)

On another note, do you think the colour scheme of the web site can be changed? Im not sure if anyone else has the same problem but I find it difficult to find the borders of comment tabs and sections you are required to type into, I think its the very slight colour difference between the brown/black colours that causes this.

Glad you like it here :) What is the use of putting other people down? We are all here to have fun.
And does your beta testing have anything to do with this game?

I don't have the problem from my screen, but the colors are pretty close. I'll let the higher ups know.

We strive to keep all the Gameamp forums helpful and nice. We are all fans of these games, and when someone needs help it does no good to trash talk them about it.
As for the colors, let me see if maybe they can add a bit of contrast to them... No promises, but maybe they can darken something up a bit more.

I cant tell anyone which Beta Im testing on due to the contract you sign when you do beta. I can tell you that it was a Microsoft Game at first but now its been handed over to the dreaded SOE due to conflicts regarding the game direction. I have stopped testing recently due to bugs not being fixed quick enough and gameplay thats been made slow on purpose, like travelling across a map that takes hours instead of minutes etc. They have recently added housing into the game but only for their best friends so thats made me angry as well as they only released houses to 100 players. So Im waiting until the next beta version and maybe things will get better. Im so bored at the minute, there is not a decent game out there and it seems all the software companies are waiting until xmas until they release their latest games. Im dying to play a new version of FARCRY, which I consider one of the best games ever due to it not being based inside a cave, corridor, castle etc. It was really nice to run along beaches killing, it made you feel more free and the graphics were great. Either a new launch of SWG or FARCRY, this is my current wish list.

Yes it seems that most of the new games aren't going to be coming out until way later this year. I guess they want to hit the Christmas buying season... But there are quite few nice ones that are out now.

I really wish we could have made our mid 2006 release, but we made a huge improvment to how the game will function before then. I think the improvements will outweigh the extra wait time in the long run though. Everything is starting to fall in place now.

If you think it will make HJ the game of our dreams then I am all for it. It has been a bit quiet here at our forums. So it is great to hear from you again! I was afaid you had already forgotten about us :)

I've been checking the forums every couple of days, but there hasn't been much to respond to. Actually most of the forums I read have been a bit slow lately. The beginning of Summer tends to do that though.

I'm all for waiting if it makes the game better. This game is one I'm really drooling over, and the fact that you guys care enough to postpone the launch date to make it even better is a good sign.
And yeah sometimes to forums die down a bit. But I'm sure they will pick back up again!
