The Europeans (= me) are in luck too. Go to www.lotro-europe.com/beta to sign up for your Beta spot. I had already commented on it here, but I thought I should repeat it in this thread as well. This is just too good news to keep hidden.
I beta tested DDO with Turbine, and RF Online with Codemasters, so I should be covered on both ends. But I'll keep my fingers crossed.

Hmmm well I dont really know what all this then is about in detail, but I am all about Lord of the Rings, Betas, aaand new games to try, so if this is a compilation of the three, as I think it is, count me in. ^_^

I thought Boromir a very noble character indeed. His only downfall was that of all men who came into contact with the ring, he desired it for himself and his people. Only when he lay dying did he realize his folly, that the ring cannot be controlled or contained and is corrupting and vile.

Boramir was indeed a good guy in the end, but if you had to sacrifice one member of the nine, who would it be(by book standards[cause the movies Sam was just whiny...])?

Heh, I never understood why hobbits have such a resistance to the ring, I mean they are by nature lazy and easy going. Seems like they are perfect victems for the ring...
And yes I do like Boramir(I guess it seems like I'm covering myself here) but yes he is a good guy who sacrificed his live for that of the Fellowship.
Maybe Merry or Pippen would be the one to go, which ever one threw the stone down the well in Moria(I want to say Pippen, but don't quote me on it)
