I made a dumb choice, I know, to trust someone with 100k that wouldn't even earn me anything substantial... but I learned a lesson from getting scammed of all my savings, and hopefully all of the scammers will.
This is the chatlog between the scammer and I, after I finally got his/her attention....

Let this be inspiration to those who have to resort to this hurtful way of making gw gold.
Please don't report D S Dragon Spear even tho he's a scammer, I think that over time, he will learn.

I got that same exact story when someone scammed me for ecto once and again for someone scamming me 50k. xD You was played... And I'm sorry to hear that. He will not be the last one to do that, nor will that be his last time.

Dude, you were way too nice to him. HE STOLE 100K FROM YOU. he is not having any regrets, due to his lag of sympothy, if this happened to me, id be swearing, cussing, and even using curse words. id have reported him 10 times by now. anyone who scams, shouldnt deserve to be playing the game. weve heard this 100 times, but they still keep doing it, spam emails of this convo to A-net, and make him "lose his 2nd account", like that is his 2nd account.. hes playing you for sure.

Report the ***** or don't bother telling us not to.
It's obvious this gent has the ability and intention
to do it again, also he mentioned attempting to use
a sort of hack. That is the type of player GW doesn't
need and Arena.net doesn't want.
I believe it's a responability to report this person
to help protect the innoccent future victims. Please
do the noobs a favor, help them out so they may avoid
the upsetting instance you found.
Oh, FYI everyone even in Pre people start to scam. I
found a silly noob try to convince me to give 200g to
this man and trust him to then give me the item.
Obviously it smells fishy right off but some people
don't want to offend and do so without regard. If it
feels funny, don't do it. Better that than to regret
it in the end.

I wish i could be optimistic enough to believe what he said but.. i know it's a lie. People like him make their gold by scamming and they'll do it over and over and over again until something makes them stop. He could have given you something back, 1k even. there is a difference between a theif who steals but then gets a job and stops and a theif who uses the excuse "there is no other way". There is always another way, his is just easier and more profitable.

Erm welcome to gameamp Greywalker? First off, pleae watch the language, im sure one of the admin will edit your post for language. Also try to keep it friendly please.

Yeah getting scammed sucks, your best off reporting him along with those screenshots. Anet will go into their game history and check out the story, and check the screenshot to make sure it matches up with their history. Might wanna give them a specific time including timezone to make sure soemthing gets done about it.

I'll admit I was out of line with the names, my bad.
However I thought the post more of a warning than
any progress made by the writer.
Thanks for the heads up but I must say, please don't
be foolish and not report these instances. It's not
really fair to others to ignore people who do these
things. Once again, my apologies.

I'm lucky to have never been scammed but it's not from a lack of trying. The most recent one was me trying to sell Brohn's Staff for 20K. This guy offered me Superior Absorption (It was worth about 28K at the time) and I accepted. So we set the trade up and I checked to see the rune.
Next thing you know, he has canceled the trade and says he will give me an extra 1K. He thens trades again and there is the 1K and the rune. BUT WAIT! I put my mouse over the rune and it's Superior Tactics.
I should have reported him for attempting to do that but did not. However, to not report someone who takes a large amount from you is silly. He should be banned for what he did so he can't try to scam anyone else.
On a funny side note though, did anyone else think of Final Fantasy X when he says "listen to my story" in that picture of the chat log?

I think you've been a bit naive.
This conversation appears to me as a standard scammer chat in which the people play any game with your mind in order not to get reported.

he robbs you of your gold. then he scams you into not reporting him
dude you got pwned by a f-ing scammer. it would be less embarrassing for him to take you by the head and dunk it in a un flushed toilet of a indian resturant(eat curry + wait 10 min = excreat curry)
report his a** and make him pay
