I got an email from Orchist at about 8:30am this morning and emailed back at about the same time.
I guess it is a not an automized process with SOE when it comes to new beta invites.
Hopefully I'll get my invite by tomorrow!

I won a key as well, and responded to Orchist soon as I saw his mail. I hope we get something from SoE tommorrow. One of my friends told me you can only download the beta via bittorent and he's been DLing for 4 days now.. so I wanna get started ASAP =]

I've been checking my email every few minutes waiting for the beta key info from SoE. I would like to thank Game Amp for running the contest, and to the judges who gladly accepted my large unmarked bills....er....I mean who found my work entertaining! Yea that's it!

Waiting for that email is down right painful. Not but two weeks ago I was in some of your shoes waiting for mine.
The link they send you downloads an app that will download the game. Almost 4 gigs is the download size which took me 14 hours with a dsl line. Some other staff members did the download in 5 hours I think. All depends on connection speed of course.
The fan fiction was a loooong read. :) And we all had to make some very hard decisions. Almost all of the submittions were pretty darn good and to just pick 5 was challenging.
For those that weren't selected this round remember that at the end of week 3 we will be picking 10 more fan fiction winners!

Do we need the Beta Keys Download the client? If not could some one in beta share with this weeks winners how to do so. That we might get a start on 4 Gig monster we have to patiently install? Maybe in a PM or email possibly?

It was a tough contest and I would like to thank everyone for the fantastic stories. I enjoyed all the stories and I struggled to make the first cut-down list to just 10 stories. Once everyone posted their top 10 list it got a little easier as we noticed the overlaps but even still it was very tough to pick the 5 best stories.
I wanted to clarify something though, Nestor mentioned that we will be awarding another 10 beta keys in a few weeks for another 10 great fan fiction writers. Every piece of fiction submitted up to now, excluding the 5 winners this past week, will be eligible to win one of those final 10 beta keys.

I recently received a PM from Orchist saying I had won (for the fan fiction contest, I assume), but have yet to receive any emails confirming or denying this...
If it is just a matter of me waiting to receive something from Sony themselves, then super, I can handle that...
Just want confirmation that I actually DID win, and am just playing the waiting game now (rather than not even knowing which game I am playing, if any...)

I don't recall sending you a PM notice (though I did vote for one of your stories). If you received one I sincerely apologize. We sent email and PM notices to the winners and all 10 names and email addresses have been forward to SOE. SOE sent out the beta invites yesterday to them I believe.
