| Petitioning ANet about Elite Missions. |

I would like to start a petition for ANet to allow public access to Elite Missions. Today i did alot of research on the subject and found that overall, hording items that are from elite missions just because you have a large alliance that farms all day is just wrong..
I payed 60$ for a game that promised me that i would not have to farm, or be anything but a casual player. I would like to start a petition and email it to ANet for them to see that they did not deliver on that promise. that they created missions that FORCED players to farm and that i did not pay 60$ for access to half the game and insults because i dared to show myself in The Deep between the time that TC lost control and BkBd gained it.

I totally agree. Basically the high-level content promised to hardcore PvEer's has been barred off by Faction farmers. I basically wanted to get my char through the game to get to these missions... I want the UW/FoW Canthan style! Still, PvP is fun, but if I'm obligated or forced to do it to get to the fun...what's the point of playing?

i would like to do these missions, but a-net would need to give the elite alliances out there something to make all of that faction worth it.

Where do I sign? I agree, I didn't pay money not to have access to part of the game. This is wrong. I don't have to spend hours getting enough faction just to enter a mission. Tell me how to join this petition, and I will.

i support your idea, but i think a counter offer should be made too, such as "A-Net, we want you to take away the elite missions from just the alliances who own the capitol cities, and give them to everybody" well how do the 800+people who are in the elite guilds/alliances feel about this? pretty bad IMHO (note: i am not in one... i just don't care that i can't access them too much yet)
so what does A-Net do? nothing.
UNLESS they have something else that the elite alliances get that nobody else gets, and then you have the whole cycle starting over again. so maybe offering new emotes or something that only the high ranked alliances can ues/get... simple ideas like that.
but IMO, nothing will get done unless A-Net can clearly see a way in which everyone wins

Rogue they can just steal a page from lineage 2 - also a plaync title. Have the alliance that controls able to manipulate prices at their merchants, or give them a discount on them(not too big or you will see a lot of people buying stuff and selling cheaper while still making a profit)
Or just implement a drop rate increase when an alliance member is in the party...again nothing that you will really notice or the items will become less rare and therefore worth much less.

this is the one thing in fctions that i find a failure.
it is ludicrous to give the most elite part of the game to any alliance. favor was bad enough, now a complete stranglehold on this area makes anything other than the top few guilds at best menas the rich get richer, and the poor get poorer.
this is unfair, especially since many of these guilds are now forcing members to pay for thier memberships in faction or get booted
when a game becomes a job... theres something seriously wrong, and this is very wrong

How many of these threads did we see when the original guildwars was released as compared to when factions was released?
Factions needs to be taken off the market, and rebuilt.
Im serious the entire game is flawed.
Prophecies FTW, Factions FTL.
