Note: This is my 1st forum so, be gentle. Thx
Ok this is something i have thought about for a while and i just wanna hear your thoughts on it.
A Water Control set for controllers. this would be different than the ice control. im not sure what all it would contain but it just sounds interesting to me. lemme know what u think.
now im not trying to get this in-game i just would like to hear your thoughts on it.

Welcome to Gameamp!
Feel free to ask questions because there are no stupid questions.
Personally I would like to see water based Power Set for some of the Archetypes. Controller is certainly one I agree with. At one time I heard rumors of Water Power Sets coming to COH but it has been a while back.

Welcome to GameAmp! It's great to have you.
What a freaking great idea! I would love to play with a Water Controller. If I were more imaginative, I could probably come up with some powers. Unfortunately, I'm only getting visions of a water cell and a tsumani. I hope someone else can elaborate.

this makes me think of squirtle so a more appropriate pet would be something like a water man. i.e. the villian from spiderman that could turn his body into water and travel thru the water supply of NYC. kinda like that.
whirl pool could be the basic hold
flood as the AoE hold.
tidal wave as a knockback
water beast as the pet (see above)
cant really think of any others.

Hmmmm...
Im with Mal on this one. I will have to give it some thought though.
Blaster Set could be fairly simple I would think. Although I would have to laugh at the names of the attacks.
Squirt-
Gusher-
As for the Controller AOE holds you could do something like Whirlpools.

There could also be a power called Water Spout. It would work a lot like Lift in the Gravity set. The ground underneath the target would crack open, and a huge spout of water would knock it into the air, dealing moderate to high smashing damage.

Or how about a bucket of water appears over their head and dumps on them while the bucket itself falls on their head...holding them in place while they try to get the bucket off. i like that one!

Aaah yes. A long long time ago in a issue far far away... The Water blast set for blasters had been rumored to be released in the coming issue (at the time I think it was i5). Didn't happen, and last I read the set was back burnered.

Well, I love coming up with new sets, so here are my ideas:
Guyser: Knocks the target into the air, knocking them down and dealing smashing damage. Also has a small chance of knocking down nearby targets.
Drown: Encases a single target in a sphere of water, holding them fast and dealing smashing damage over time.
Crashing Wave: A cone-shaped wave of water erupts from the ground and sweeps toward a group of foes, knocking them back and dealing smashing damage.
Quagmire: Causes a hot-spring to boil up from the ground and mire down the area. Slows all enemies in the area, preventing flight and jumping, while slowly dealing fire damage over time from the extreme heat.
Stifling Humidity: Causes enemies within an area to be enshrouded in a heavy blanket of steam which drains energy and momentum, causing those effected to go to sleep.
Wellspring of Life: A bubbling spring of life-giving waters trickles up from the ground, increasing the regeneration rate of all allies within the wellspring's area of effect.
High Tide: Encases several individuals within watery spheres, holding them fast and dealing a small amount of smashing damage over time.
Briney Deep: A pool of briney water wells up in an area. Enemies in the area can be immobilized by the salt crystalizing on their feet. While this power deals a small amount of toxic damage over time, the damage actually increases as an enemy within is damaged, as the salt begins to permeate their open wounds.
Summon Naiad: Summons a beautiful water spirit who will fight for you using Geyser, Drown and Crashing Wave as well as slowing anyone who gets into melee range with it, similar to the Quagmire power, but not dealing damage. The Naiad can be buffed and healed normally.
Well, that was a quick morning's work. What do you think?

I think that would be a neat idea. I like the list of powers from the previous post. Geysers and such in the set. Although not a hero, with leviatan mastery coming in the Villain Patron powers it would be a good match up.
Although the thought of "Squirttle-like" powers did give me a little chuckle!

You need one that works like telekenesis called "Prison Hose" for a single target, or "Riot Control" for a cone.

that would be pretty cool to have.
Bottom Muds- Target is trapped in the mud at the bottom of a pool and is immobilized.
Drown- Target cannot breathe and is held.
Muddy Pool- targets in an area become stuck in mud and cannot move. they are immoblized.
Sea Breeze- toggle. Yours and everyone around you has increased Regen. but only a little. decreases stealth abilitys all artound you.
Ocean Spray- Slows enemies in a cone. also disorients them.
Sea Sickness- Enemies in a cone become confused. small DoT
Geyser- summon that affects area. sorta like bonfire. knocksback baddies form the set area.
Tidal Wave- Cone. deals small DoT and holds enemies.
Summon Sea Sprite- summon. summons three sea sprites to assist you. they are small, not too bright, and have basic water attacks and a hold. kinda like fire imps.
Thanks to Death Fetish for kicka$$ siggy!!!
