So i reinstaled my AO game and reactivated my account and found out that after a couple years of absence, all my stuff was still there. But now i run into the dilema. I want to move all of my stuff over to my new character. But, have no real means of doing so. So does anyone around here still play AO and happens to be an omni-tek personal that can pick up my stuff and help deliver it to my new player. right now because i just started so i have no idea where my character is right now so ill have to find my way back to omni-tek. but once i get my new character to omni-1 then i can get my stuff.

How is Anarchy Online, I saw that they have a 14 day free trial going, and was thinking about playing. Opinions, flames, name calling...
 I taste like Bread.
I am a staple in almost everyone's diet. Friends like me are a complement to any other friends I get on with almost everyone, remaining mostly in the background, but providing substance when it would otherwise be lacking. What Flavour Are You?

I never got far enough to really know the game. i joined it when notum wars came out. and i was still a young player to online games. so my char grew up weird and with the wrong skills. but now. im ready for it. i donno what the max lvl is now. last time i left it was like 250 or something. when ya lvl up. ya get points. then ya toss those points into what ever ya want. body stats. skills. stuff like that. the customization i really liked. after i think ya meet a certain lvl or title cant remember, you get the ability to reset a skill or stat and take those points back and put them into something else. ya start off with 1 reset. but ya get more as ya play. and the thongs and tops the girls get to wear are really sexy. course the guys can wear them also. my character is forced to have to wear a girls armor top. but still. once he has some manly armor. then he'll be all set. theres also a couple dance clubs. and ya get to dual weild. woot!!!

Anarchy Online is actually a really good game. I played it for about a year and enjoyed it alot. It's a very technical game (crafting wise anyway).
I would definitely recommend trying the 14 day freebie time to anyone. After playing CoH and getting a little burned out on it, I loaded AO up again. I couldn't quite get back into it like I once was, sadly. The graphics just seemed so clunky and dated. (yes, I'm a graphics junkie) The good gameplay still remains, though.
With this new expansion they just put out, I may very well give it another go and see how I like it.

informant!!! if ya on the atlantean server look for Arzada and Valindiana. and dont get alien invasion. its not needed unless ya in a Org City. just get shadowlands.
i on the other hand arent a graphics junkie. im actually thinking about visiting UO again.

I tested AO when it first came out, and only because it was a Norwegian company that made the game.
I didnt really get into it then, but I didnt play much, and the game was still kinda buggy. Would be fun to test it again sometime though, its prolly a whole new game by now.

yea it didnt exactly have a very good launch. but its better. the alien invasion expansion though is said to be really buggy.

In the event that you load up ya game and ya get a black screen. Don't panic. What you need to do is change the games resolution settings. at the login screen just click on settings and try a lower setting.

AO is a good game but theres a steep learning curve in it. if your one of those peoples who likes to start a game and get right into it with minimal to learn then AO will take a bit to enjoy but once you get the hang of AO its a blast.

I have played Anarchy Online for a long time..
and its a good game, some say its funny (dont think so myself),
there are 200 normal levels... then there are 20 Shadowlevels (realy boring to get) and in the last expanision pack they added 30 Alien Invasion Perks (so 30Ai lvls, but you dont need all of them since its just grinding anyway).
When you are reaching higher lvl its all about hitting "Hecklers"(big Rock monster) and its boring as hell since thats the fastest way to get Exp (ShadowKnowlegde).
To get Alien Exp you need to be fighting Aliens that attack your Org(guild like SG) City, soon they will add new alien zones where you can fight aliens without actually be in a Org, but that will be some time to (so buckle up and wait)
