Ever just spent valuable playing time dancing in the Guild Hall beacause you can't think of anything to do? Ever completed the first mission 6 times over, simply because there is nothing better to do? Well no more shall you be bored on Guild Wars. I am going to share a few little pranks and things you could use to have a little bit of fun.
1, Buying an Item
NOTE: You do not actually buy anything doing this! You simply pretend to.
First, stand in KC and look for someone trying to sell an item. Once you have spied someone selling an item, ask to view it. Spend a minute or so looking at it, then say you are interested. The seller will probably ask for you to give him an offer say something like "Wait, can I see it weilded outside first?" Prey he says yes! If he does, go outisde and say it looks great. If he doesn't just say fine and go off in a huff.If he has shown you it weilded, walk back through the portal into KC and say you want it. Again he will ask for an offer. Say something like, "Actually, can I see it used agaisnt a monster?" Prey he goes outside again and uses it against a monster. If he does, walk back inside and give him a great offer, about 20k more then what its worth. No doubt, he/she will say yes. Next, say something like, "Opps got my other 30k on my other char, ill be two seconds switching chars, plz dont sell it" or "I need my money of another character, I will pay an extra 10k if you dont sell it to someone else" This will mean he will still have it when you come back. Dont rush, take aslong as you need, this prank is all about wasting people time and getting them excited. Once you return, trade with him. Offer the money and he will offer the item and accept. Decline and say, "Wait one second, what prof is this for?" No matter what they reply, say "Woops, I need a bow for my ranger!" And with that tele out!
You should have wasted about 7-10 mins of that persons life, and no doubt they will be annoyed. :D You may get spammed by the seller, but just ignore him/her. Many people think this is cruel but o well, atleast your not bored anynmore! I have some more, but must go out now, ill post them tomorow. Have Fun People!

Nahh. MUCH better one. Guild Scrimmages.
Ever played Dodgeball?
Everyone in the match is a Mesmer/Elementalist, 16 fast casting and 12 Air Magic. Use all SUP runes to get down to 105 hit points. Then use Lightning Orb.Last man standing wins!
Sometimes it's beneficial for some players to go Mesmer/Monk, and stand by for a match, so they can fast-res their team up for another quick match without starting a new scrimmage.
Practice your dodging!

Everything you posted is just a sad way to spoil anothers game experiance I would personly be discuested if a plyer did that to me, and I doubt you guys would like it if it happend to you! so think about the other person when you talk about doing this.
If you get bored, my advice is go read some forums, put a CD and listen to some music you like. read a book or even go for a walk outside! its more rewarding then spoiling some one elses fun.

Or if you're really that bored with Guild Wars, go find another game to play instead of harassing the people that aren't bored with it.

one thing to say; how to ruin another persons game for your own pleasure. This shows imo of no respect to your fellow gamer; or that you even care to let players finish THEIR mission. if you are bored, go in there by yourself and get yourself killed, but leave other people alone and give them the opportunity of playing their game.

Dont do that..it gives smiting monks a bad name. Only do things like that to a team if they insult you. For example..
I went as an MM on a mission with a group and they started saying i was a noob because my minions didnt have a high enough lvl..so..i made 10 minions (9 fiends, 1 golem) and left. 10 seconds later i get hate spam about how i made them die. Apparently my minions WERE high enough lvl.
If they insult your healing abilities then you dont have to heal them and such.
But dont ruin other people's mission for your amusement. What if that other team has a Sin. They have to wait for hours just to get a group and i'm sure he wasnt to thrilled that he now has to repeat the process because some monk decided to mess with the group and made them either rage quit or lose as a result.

this made my entire day ^^. omg whos the n00b then. 10 minions = 16 death magic = pretty much maxed out (i still havent seen ANY mm with more then 10 minions). uhmm lvl 18 fiends and lvl 26 golem = pwnd. way to go!!
And indeed; in that case its a matter of comes around goes around. A little payback for insulting. But then again; never do things like this for your own amusement.

ok once I got really bored so I took my w/mo out for a spin in desert
thinks it is dunes of despair (the one you need keep monk alive)
well I joined a group and hold and behold no monk were there only me and another r/mo the rest were tanks and an ele
well as I said I was bored,,, so I told them I will keep ghost alive just follow the leads and dont take stupid chances.
well It was the first time I had so much fun in a mission,,, all went smoothly and we had a ball.
so if you get bored why not help out much more gratifying,
another time
got my rit to ascalon trying to do a mission (not remembering I could not) so I gather a group of lvl 7-10 try to do it can't so I tell them wait brb, so I got my mesmer and we went to the great north wall mission in like 15 minutes it was a blast :)
moral of story is what ever you do to someone it will always come back to you in the end[/I]
