Said another player after our horrible defeat..
Ok Somebody explain to me plz WTF is a "twink" in pvp?

From what I understand, a Twink is a player who levels their character to the maximum level for their BG bracket (lvl 19, lvl 29, lvl 39 etc.) and then gets the best gear they can get for their level via funds from their main character, therefore owning the hell out of everybody and getting loads of Honor =D
Twinking has got pretty much out of hand lately from what i've heard, I'm not a heavy PvP'er myself.
I have a flannel to wash my face
if it gets mucky i feel disgraced.

I think that refers to being too impulsive, rash-like - lacking tactics or strategy.
However, although I don't play WoW myself my best guess it's just someone who doesn't quite like what exactly was going about.
It doesn't have to mean the team actually sucked or anything, some people just expect too much, possibly because they're very experienced players themselves and have too much ego to play with lesser experienced people but even that does not always have to be the case.

i hate ppl that do that seeing how i get my ass kiked everytime.
But i kinda asked for it i chose the path of a freeking glass cannon... Aka MAGE.

Do you have money of your own (i.e. from a part time job)? Subscription doesn't require a credit card, you can just buy time cards and add them to your account =)

Well, perhaps I could do it that way yeah, but in addition I don't wanna stop GW either and I calculated that already costs me 15 euro a month averagely.

I thoguht GW was free? How would it cost 15 euro a month then...?
Oh well.
I sorta do the twink thing, but not really, I'll sit at a end BG Level and just play it over and over again for some honor, I won't send other characters super armor for doing that though. It's pretty stupid, and the funny part is, It isn't hard to get honor at all in a BG...
I just usually stay in a sopt(If am at a lower than most level) and fire bullets at a passing player, hit them once and run :D.
If they die, you get some honor from it! lol
Also, where in the world to you but time cards? I've never seen one at Best Buy...Maybe I don't look hard enough?

I think Julia worked out the Guild Wars costs by diving the price of 2 new chapters per year by the amount of months in a year =)
As for the time cards, I live in the UK so it might be different where you live, but I can just walk into my local games shop and buy a 60 day time-card for WoW which I can add to my account (if I wanted to, I actually pay via my plastic, it works out cheaper).

One chapter every 6 months, 2 accounts, Collector's Edition for the first and another normal copy for the second makes for a total of about 90 euro.
90 * 2 / 12 = 15.

Well they proably sell them here, maybe they just ran out or something...Probably have them at GameStop or EB Games here...But I just share an account with a frined and he pays for it(He's got plastic!), and we just share the account, but he's trying to get me my own account so we can run instances a lot easier. He even said something about in the summer, blizz was going to allow players to move any of their character to any realm, and even change which account their on, he's waiting for that so I can keep my guy.

As for paid realm transfers you mentioned, Blizzard are supposed to be introducing that in the summer, IMO a welcome new feature.

heh yes I can't wait for the transfers to open up that way it will make getting all of us on the same server much easier. Wich is something I say we should do. And once that is done the starting of a gameamp guild for wow.

I have a couple of twinks myself. one at each level cap except for 59. All of them are decked out in gear. It does get very expensive though..

Why do I twink? It's for the down time I have between raids and reputation farming. There are a couple of Twink guilds on our server so alot of the time we're playing against other twinks. My favorite bracket is 30-39. Oh well i apologize.. i just have all this gold and nothing to spend it on.

heh drakir don't feel bad I'm building my first twink up for the pre-20 bracket. It is a nice way to spend that extra gold. Wich I seem to have quite a bit of lol. I can't help that I'm such a great auctioneer lol.

Well in that case, let me help you out with that..
First of all what class are you going to roll? I would suggest either a Warrior or Rogue, leaning towards the Rogue as at low levels they are overpowered due to Sinister Strike. Well let me know what class you want to play and we'll go from there.

my Goshh, I'll never forgive any lvl 60 horde player that kills anything 30 lvls below them!
I dropped 2 ranks in my guild because of the horde!
Oh yeah, 'summer' for blizz probably means, oh say, August 9, When school starts for me. LOL!

heh it's spare hunter character that I had gotten to 17 and just stopped playing I figure I'll get him to 19 get one hell of a dmg/tank pet and twink myself out and own the lil hordlings in pvp.

Gosh, when I get to 60, or even 40, I'm going to own some horde butt...They tick me off so much when I play...It isn't right for a lvl 60 Warrior to run up and hit you once and then you die...They should be getting DK's when they kill a player 30 levels lower...
