I suppose the damage from Ether Prodigy is higher than the maximum damage reversal of Fortune can negate.

Well, the description for Ether Prodigy says "take 2 damage" so it should work.
How much should it have prevented, and how much would Ether Prodigy cause? Maybe you just took over the limit for RoF.
Possibly the description should be changed to "lose health", like for Flesh of My Flesh, Illusion of Weakness etc. RoF won;t affect those or sacrificing.

i think ive read rof wrong for a long time, i thougth that it negated the dmg and if it was over that amount then u would just gain the 5-67 depending on ur lvl

Easy way to test it. Cast Ether Prodigy, but with 0 energy Storage, no armour and no items held. Or a -5e item if you have one. You should only take a bit of damage then.
Take 12 Prot Prayers and use RoF. Then see if it is still hurting you.

yeah i see what ur saying i think ur test would work but i would only use it if i was taking say 112 dmg and i could negate it.
I tested it wit full energy and reversal just sat there lol

Reversal Of Fortune-
The next time target ally would take damage, that ally gains that amount of Health instead, maximum 15...67.
Ether Prodigy-
Lose all enchantments. For 5...17 seconds, you gain energy regeneration of 6. When Ether Prodigy ends, you take 2 damage for each point of energy you have. This Spell causes Exhaustion.
An elementalist using this will be gaining slightly more than 3.3 energy per second for the duration. At 12 energy storage, this totals to almost 57 energy. Be prepared to spend this in order to not take too much damage when prodigy ends. Consider using this only when energy is already low.
57*2=114Dmg
If Ether did not strip Enchants
114-67=47 damage

I think reversal of fortune only really kicks in when you take damage from another source; the energy skill doesn't count as such.
Kinda like how ending shadow form and losing all but 40 health DOESN'T activate Illusion of Weakness.

well but it negate 67hp and heal for 67 so
114-67=47 damage +67 from healing= 20 health gain
oh hai.

RoF does not negate the damage from Blood of The Master either, or that might just be the same syndrom.
Say Blood of the Master does 115 dmg. With 12 prot, 67 of that dmg shout be negated. You should also be healed for 67 dmg, so you should not take any dmg at all, but unfortunatly, it doesn't work that way.
