I have a question about Poison arrow and Aplly posion skills for rangers

wats the difference between posion arrow and apply posion?? is poison arrow better than apply posion? is posion arrow an elite skill? where do you get it? do you need a Cap sig for it?

Apply posion attribute is wilder survival right? well my wilderness survival is 10 so apply posion lasts like 11 seconds. BUT my bow has a mod like " Lengthens the posion duration by 33%". So how much seconds does my apply posion lasts???

Poison Arrow is an elite skill, not sure where you cap

With regards to the lengthen poison, it means the poison from apply poison will last 15 seconds instead of 11 (assuming GW rounds up)

poison arrow on applies to one arrow and apply poison applies to every arrow u fire until it runs out. yes poison arrow is an elite. i cant remember were u capture it but check out the skill section here on gameamp

poison should last about 3 seconds longer with your bow.

I think the most important difference is the skill type.
Apply Poison is a preperation and will apply to all arrows you fire for 24 seconds.
Poison Arrow on the other hand is a shot and applies only to the one arrow you fire using that skill.

Very closely related to this is the difference in skill combinations you can use.
For instance, if you want to stack conditions in one shot like poison and bleeding you will need Apply Poison to combine with Hunter's Shot.
If you take Poison Arrow instead you're basically swapping over the shot / preperation combination.
Your shot causes the poison now, so you need a preperation for bleeding which would have to be Melandru's Arrows but both that and Poison Arrow are elite making ruling this out as an alternative.

Those are an example of things to consider.

You can cap Poison Arrow in Witman's Folly outside Droknars Forge. Poison Arrow is more effective in PvE, cuz enemies don't have condition removal skills, but i think Apply Posion is more effective to drain energy from the other teams monks. With draining aenergy i mean, they will have to remove conditions all the time.

haha poisen arrow was my first elite ever =P Yes cap it in Whitmens folly, Outside Port Seldge.

Difference?

Apply Poisen
-Costs more energy
-Is a Prep. So it lasts for a little time
-Isnt a elite, so it doesnt take up a elite space.

Poisen Arrow {Elite}
-Costs every little energy with expertise in (around 2-3Energy)
-Is a Elite, so will take up a elite spot
-Doesnt last as a prep, this skill moves like "one arrow" per use.

Well how many < are degenrated in the health if i use Apply posion?

Like theres like a < mark on the health thingy, like and arrow but fascing on the left... like its degenrated.. Well bleeding cause 2 degens right? whats posion?

I saw a hammer warrior using it once and his target became poisond.So apply poison also works on other weapons(like swords,hammers,axes) and poison arrow doesn't.

How much health degenerated is the same for Apply Poison and Poison Arrow, because they use the same type of health degeneration--Poison. I think poison does -3 Health Degeneration, but I've been wrong....alot..but I'm pretty sure about this one. Like they said up a few posts, only difference is one is a preperation, other is a real shot. You just have to be creative and make good combinations when picking skills to go out with.

Correct, there are also W/R solofarmers which use Apply Poison + Cyclone Axe.

I think Apply and Arrow are both equal in use. Both can be used in amazing situations.

Apply is awesome when you use Fragility. Every time you hit the enemy, it reapplies Poison. Apply isn't elite, so you can use other elites with it.

Poison Arrow works well with preparations. Kindle Arrows + Poison Arrow equals high damage.

Ive look into the Skill section guide thingy and it said You have to kill "Salani Pippip" and cap his ass to get Posion arrow.

Any1 going to help me????

this is an easy cap with hench, it's grawl. I think surely you can cap it with hench. In fact, I flat know you can cap it with hench.
