Who wants an Official Gameamp SG ?

Howdy all

I know we all have our various SGs, our fav servers, but is anyone interested in joining an Official Gameamp SG on one of the US servers?

I know we got unoffical ones but Im talking about one that is for us, for the ampers, for YOU.

What does everyone say? I promise SG outfit will not be pink and the SG uniform costume slot I will take time to develop OR mebbe even put the option out to you to design the SG uniform...

If I get enough interest, I'll do it, all the organisation etc and take it from there.

So, who wants in?

Name ideas welcome, SG colour Ideas welcome.

Lets get this party started!

PS - I might even write a gameamp SG story......

I think it's a great idea. I know we have tried to do this in the past but participation fell off. I am willing to give it another go. Doesn't matter what server. I have toons on almost all of them and none are especially dedicated to an existing SG.

damn you firespray!!!! i was thinking about posting a similiar message this morning but had to actually do work!!!! you beat me to the punch! but thats ok cause i'd rather not do the leg work right now :) so thank you.

I"M IN!!!!

doesnt matter which server. my main is on champion(31 yrs of age) and doesnt have a SG so i could contribute some influence when needed. but i dont care what server. i only have like 3 of them used and none are full.

damn i might not get any school work done this weekend now!

I've got alts all over the servers. If you don't mind random players in the SG I'd go for it. I'm pretty much full up with SG toons on Liberty, but that doesn't seem to a popular server with a lot of Ampers. I do have to take care of the SG I'm running, but I never have enough slots to test out all of the power combos I want.

hmmmm it would be fun to start all new toons and kinda "grow up" together but there are a lot of benifits to having the big boys around too. I would be interested in putting an alt in the group but my playing time would be limited.

Sounds like a good idea. I've always thought that once server transfer came out we could all get together on one server, but this is good too. We'd probably want a server that we've got some high lvls on to assist with missions and inf (insert push for Victory --> Death Conqueror, with roughly 70 mil).

I'm in. hopefully we get a lot of people and we can become an active server on whatever server we're on. Become a reckoning force, something other heroes will respect and other villains will fear.

Ok, Im gonna make a push for a Server here.

Since the Villains have their Offical Gameamp SG on Triumph, I think the Heroes should also be on Triumph.

This allows us to set up future PVP events among the COH/COV Gameamp sides.

This just makes since to me.

Shades Of Vengeance is the EU official Gameamp SG :o)

OK I can see that there is definately interest in this and that people are willing to give it a try.

As with the villain group, the Staff will be the highest ranked people and basically everyone else can work with each other, make recommendations for promotions, work their way up the ranking ladder. Does everyone like the sound of this? It gives the SG that little extra bit for you to work towards. It's just an idea and will prolly get scrapped hehehe.

SO.

The big moment.

The Name of the SG - over to you guys. I have one in mind but I'd like suggestions. Once we get a name we can do SG colours.

The SG symbol will be the Lightning strike - its the closest we can get to ampy!!

So - name of the SG.

I'm going to throw in "Guardians Of The Gameamp Asylum" - since our mortal enemies will be the inmates.

Lets see what you guys can come up with. I'm just organising this, the rest is going to be up to you, just like the site.

I do think though to get the full benefit of this experience we should all start with new toons (10 and under at least) (except for SG benefactors) rather than a hodgepodge of SK'ing and Exem'ing.

Either way put me on the list to be a lowly emp def...

I also vote for triumph. It would be really cool to see an on-site friendly rivalry between the CoH and CoV pages. As for a name how about:

Perhaps you have forgotten, but both the Fantastic Fruits and the Veggie Meddley ARE official gameamp supergroups. You could just come back to your roots.

To Bigspeer: the server transfer was an idea that's been in the works since issue 3 that won't be out till 8 or 9 at the min. The idea was to allow transfer from one server to another. for example: it would allow me to transfer my tank from Victory to Freedom. Similar to the US to EU transfer.

To Dyvel: FARM FARM FARM. At lvl 50 you get a bunch of requests for PL. so long as they help out, i let them run with me through Neuron a bunch of times. Also, sell every enhancement you get that you can't use. I barely ever give my enhancements away. by the time i was 40 i knew just take them to Ghost Falcon in PI for cash.

My opinion: Triumph?... (moan).. hmm... fine...

Hopefully it won't end up like Veggie Medley. I bailed out of that b/c most everyone else was already gone. When i had deleted my former characters on that server, the base rent from january still hadn't been paid and only 3 or 4 characters had been on in the past 15 days.

I'm merely saying that we need to stay active, otherwise this could end up just another failed attempt.

I'm in. Triumph is cool. The Guardians name is cool too.

As for the Fruits and Veggies, they were never entirely official groups. They were just kinda started as "fun things to do". On a side note, I did see a Fruit running around Atlas the other day...I can't recall which one it was.

Anyway, I'm "Pro-Official-Group". Shyvver isn't in a group right now, so he can join.

EDIT: Wow...my sig looks REALLY bad on the hero side. Oh well, deal with it. ;)

Good to see you on the Heroes side again!

Even though the Fruits and Veggies were a great concept, they were never anything I was interested in.

I think it would be fun to have a SG to rival the Villains. I also like the Firesprays idea for a SG name.

Lets keep the ideas for names coming.
