dont flame me, i just got wow, installed it, made an account, im umm finishing an update thing now but if anyone else plays and would like to show me the ropes and they play horde (i wana make a horde first) and can tell me a good server to play on (pvp plz) then post here and let me know if u can help out a newbie

Well, i don't play it anymore, but i can give you a few pointers:
1: Proffesion/Class equivilents: Some classes are the same as the proffesions here because they were made by a devision of Blizz (yes, A-net is a Blizz company), Ranger = hunter; Necromancer = warlock; warrior=warrior; Ritualist = (horde Specific char) SHaman (in my opinion), Assassin = Rouge, W/Mo =(Alliance (my dudes) specific char) Paladin, Also, Druids are like Spirit rangers, Elementalist = mage, so if you like the proffesion you have now, i reccomend its WoW side, this now leads me to Number 2.
2:Don't pick the char everyone wants in their group, pick the one you feel comfortable with, Everyone told me to try easier chars first, and that the hunter was too hard, but it was the one i pwned with
3: Realms, PvP is one where all chars on the other team can walk up to you and kick your ass which is why i reccomend this for really good players, also in these realms, level up in safe areas, too bad horde doesn't have Teldrassil, the Elf starting area, wich is a giant island like tree.
RP (role playing) realms, Blizz marked these so that the heavy imagination Role Players know where to meet.
Normal, Not PvP, But not marked for RPers who want to explore their minds and let everyone else aswell.
4:Find a good guild with about 20-30 people at the current moment, otherwise you'll be left behind and ignored while they play, then again, i'm sure you know the importance of a good guild.
5:Armor that rocks isn't just for warriors, but before i explain this, let me tell you about the Armors: Plate, Leather, Cloth, Mail (chain mail), in Example, rangers, who can always wear cloth and leather, at level 40 (out of 60), will be able to train for the ability to wear chain mail, you'll learn these soon enough from the comunity. Also, heres how i look at the armors: Cloth, mostly effects; Leather, 50% armor, 50% effects; mail, plate, all armor.
6: auction, THE way to earn money, its like the real thing, you go up to the auctioneer (found in the undead undercity and the dwarven Ironforge) and put in your auction or make a bid, just by looking at the options and butons the auctioneer gives you, it'll be easy.
7:Attribute points = bye bye, Now you have to talk to a skill trainer, and buy different levels of skills for better versions, I have to go now but when i'm back, i'll continue my list, these are all pretty important

Zirgey! You have to play PvP on Tichondrius, I know an alliance guy by the name of Lucky Magic, he is one of my close friends and im sure he will help you if you tell him Matt sent you. Have fun, i know u will like it. just try not to get too addicted!

i would advise not doing that becasus ther is a lot of confusion, its mostly an rp server but u can turn pvp on. if you are worried about the pvp situation, its not like it sounds. only in certain areas can u fight horde/alliance. if u want to play both rp and pvp i would start on wich ever u want to play most, get ot sixty, and then try the other.

ahh well im making horde first so that wouldnt work and i guess im gonna make hord on burning legion i have some friends on there or maby firetree.. but is it a big deal if the population is high?
