I personally don't like the assassin, probably because i've played the warrior (a few times over) and because they can act like a brick wall and be in the foes face near enough all the time. Were as the assassin is mean't to deal alot of damage and get out of the way of foes. I don't like having to run in and out like that all the time.
However i do like the ritualist alot because they can heal, deal damage and enhance others attacks (via brutal weapon ect.)
Bottom line is Whats is the best build for a Ritualist
eg. Secondary Profession, Build (skills.)
Also the people that have played a Ritualist what do you think of it.
Thank you, Ellia
P.S I know i like Ritualists because i have a Mo/Rt.

Good points...
I do however prefer the Assassin over Ritualists simply because Ritualists generally look like dorks in my opinion. :P

I forgot who told me, but someone said that for a Ritualist the best 2nd proffesion would be a Necro. They can deal major dmg. But i don't know for sure
GGS is recruiting. Post a application here.

If you're going the restoration way, try Monk.
But I've seen plenty of excellent MM Rits, believe it or not!

with my spawning power minions created by a rt/n would hav more health than a n/rt- also with boon of creation you get energy+health every time you create a minion but you could only have 8 minions and they would do less dmg

Thanks for the replys guys.
yes i was thinking about a RT/N but i wasn't sure if a mesmer would be better for a secondary anyway i'm going to make a Rt/N.
Thank you again, Ellia
P.S I can't believe there are good Rt/N MM's because of Max attribute in death is 12 if Necro is your secondary.
Unless you mean't a N/Rt.

no it's rt/n, like rap man say's the spawning primary for the ritualist adds to the health, but as rt primary, u can't have as many they do less dmg (also like rap man said) and you can run out of energy quickly, imo.
See full maps for GW:EN (tarnished coast and north shiverpeaks) here

Rit/Necro
16 spawning power
12 death magic
3 blood magic
Boon of Creation
Explosive Growth
Taste of Death
Dark Bond
Animate Bone Minions
Death Nova
Rotting Flesh
Res Signet/Flesh of my Flesh
Causes 7 degen and mucho damage every time you raise and kill minions. Boon of Creation provides energy and Explosive Growth provides damage. Minions with high life tank, cause poison and damage when they die. Dark Bond keeps you from taking damage, Taste of Death heals for huge amounts quickly and cheaply. Rotting Flesh diseases the foes.
PVE build only, needs tons of corpses. Works great though
Guildwiki has a build similar over here

there are a lot better looking armours than that for the assassin and the rits just look weird imo.

Animate Bone Minions is a spell that creates TWO minions of lower level from one corpse.
