For people like me who didnt have the game up and running during the halloween and winter events in 2005, i wonder if there will be another opportunity to get those badges and accolades during the holidays this year > <, anyone know if it will be like this or will there just be new badges?

well i heard in a interview with Positron aka Matt Miller they are gonna hold events in this upcoming holidays so that new heroes that couldn't get those badges before will be able to get them now.

I seem to remember Posi saying somewhere that Winter Lords wouldn't be back for a very long time, due to the bug with his xp given. For those who weren't here during the first winter event (myself included), apparently, the winter lords would give like 8-10 bars of xp, or some really large number like that, so that by the end of the winter event, we had people that went from lvl 6 to lvl 20 or something like that.
He won't be back till they fix this problem with his xp, i think.

that, on the other hand, is an entirely different deal. B/c of the added gladiator that came in after the event was over, i seem to recall there was some upset people; so many that i seem to remember Posi or somebody else saying that it would be coming back to award toy collector and the snow beast glad again.
but don't quote me on that :D

I heard that the Winter Lords would give out 15,000 XP if you solo him. I went to Perez for the low level Winter Lord to fight, and got him pretty low to health and just as I was gonna kill him and f... I want to cuss so badly right now, group came up and killed him. I was doing just fine against him and they come up and f... again... killed him. So I got 10K instead of the whole 15.

Please tell us more about the veteran player reward system
We’ll have veteran rewards, which you’ll get every three months of payment and I’d like to stress here that the three months don’t have to be continuous. There’ll be lots of fan requested items and I can tell you that a trench coats costume option will be the first reward that we’ll hand out. The rewards are account based, thus players won’t have to decide which character they want to use them on. Some of the other ideas we’re toying with are base items, free respecs and temporal powers. There’s even a chance we’ll see the beloved Christmas jet pack again. An expanded version of the Halloween event will also open this year giving newer players are chance of getting those cool badges.
