Solo'n Thirsty River

For a long time i've seen w/mo's advertise that they would solo thirsty river. I have learned a few builds for it but they never seem to get the job done. Can any1 tell me a build? I know you pull 2 seperate teams together just cant finish off the monk boss. If needed i will pay 10k for the build and a lesson in the game.

For the monk boss aggro Josso's outter guard and lure them to to the ranger base, then head back and pull the inner guard along with Josso.
Lead them to the ranger team also, but do not take them all in one go, after that make sure to hit the ranger base gate before you turn around and run past Josso, he will then switch target and you can finish off the priest.

Alternatively you can pull Josso's outter guard to the warrior team and then run all the way aorund the arena coming back from the other side luring the ranger team past him and also in the direction of the warrior team.
Then go back past Josso and kill the priest again.

After the priest is dead you just make sure that the ranger team keeps the focus on hammering Josso and he should go down pretty soon.

I usually try to get the monkteam to the rangerteam, then pick the monkpriest off, then I go and get the warriorteam and make them join the fight and pick their priest off.

While they are all fighting I usually try to pick the rangerpriest, and then let them fight eachother since noone will be resurrected.

Sometimes I've got the warriorboss and the monkboss by themselves fighting eachother in the end, just go and help the warrior then and try to interupt as much as you can. Most of the times the monk boss go down before the fight is over tho.

well usually the monk boss wont leave the monk res guy. they wont seperate :(

The easiest way to pull him out is by using either a wand or a bow, attack him, make him come to you, step back and to it all over again. Basic pulling really.

I suggest you use a longbow or a flatbow so you're out of his range, then you shoot an arrow, wait for him to attack you, move back and repeat.

Strenght 8+1
Swordmanship 12+1+1
Healing Prayers 10

I use a 20/20 sundering sword with +30 health and +15^50 damage-bonus which I costumized for the +20% of damage. I then use a Victo's Bulwark for the +30 health always. Really any max shield would be just fine.

For the armor I have glad's chest(vigor) and leggings(absortion) and then knight's gauntlet's(swordmanship) and knight's boots(strength) and a duelist helm(absortion)

With this setup I have 590 health and 25 energy to start out with, I rarely go around killing the giants in the begging because it just take time. Mainly running up to the ghost.

The skills I use are:

Sever Artery (Bleeding for 24 seconds)
Gash (If bleeding +19 dmg and deep wound for 19 secons)
Galrath Slash (+37 damage)
Distracting Blow (interupt - 10 second recharge)
Healing Breeze (+7 health regen for 10 seconds)
Healing Hands(E) (you are healed for 25 for every hit you take for 10 seconds)
Purge Conditions (removes all conditions)
Sprint (12 seconds of running)

I also have a flat bow for pulling.

Well, I don't really like the "Lose all adrenaline" part of that skill.

Andrenaline doesn't use 1 pool... Each skills gains 1 strike of andrenaline when you hit, in seperate pools. When you use an adrenaline skill it takes 1 from every other pool, and X, defined in the skill, from that skill. You can't go over what X is.

I've always wondered the build and strategy for soloeing that mission. I never managed to kill the first team alone, they always managed to kill me. But I was using hundred blades and vigorous spirit, didn't have healing hands then.

I use:

tiger stance
sever
gash
distract blow
galrath
heal hands[e]
heal breeze(not used much..helps reduce energy for e.burns)
mending(the most critical skill for this build....j/k)

str. 8+1
swd. 11+3(yeah i dont have tha right helmet)
heal.11

furious sword of defense
zealous sword of enchantment (+15% while ench works good)
tanzits defender (for blind reduction)

Last area I pull Josso's patrols to the center to the warrior's guards. Then pass back by Josso's camp and pull him out and the ranger's patrol to him, then kill his priest.

I've also seen a variation of this done with IWAY, though it involves a small amount of cooperation on the people being ran dying where the runner tells them to.(he then res'es them after each fight, and before killing the last boss, to collect payment).

Though I must say the MM was so much easier, but now with the nerf, I dont think its possible anymore.

Update in whenever I dont feel lazy.

since I was lazy yesterday i had this mission done for me the runner did it for free which was very nice .. it was funny as i watched the foes fight each other . i was thinking about trying this myself dont look that hard to do

I was in thirsty River earlier and some1 was advertising bout running it for 5k, and they said they were off here. Was that any of you??? If so, i meant to go with you to see the run and vouch for you against those ppl callin u a lair but i joined the wrong team, sorry.
