Nobody for Titan quests anymore?

I imagine this probably has much to do with Factions being out, but I'm having a heck of a time trying to find people for Defend Denravi. Anytime I go to Denravi, there's usually only one other person (usually a W/Mo) who wants to do the quest. Course, Denravi isn't really a big hangout as much as LA is.

Even so, when I go to LA, there aren't many people wanting DNKP, and in Temple of Ages people only want to go UW or FoW. I'd do it with guild members, but I'm usually on late when they're not online. :-(

I just wanted to finish clearing out the Tyrian quests before I go much further in Cantha. I was able to hench Defend Droknars, and PUG'd Last Day Dawns, but I can't find many people (and almost certainly no monks) for the others. Fortunately, there's plenty of people still doing the SF Orozar quest, though one time a guy just cruised off to farm. >(

I never could get many people to do it before either. I kind of gave up after a couple bad expierences....Not going into that one.

Yeah, I agree that the situation wasn't all that great before, but even I'm over in Cantha most of the time now, titan quests left unfinished.

Maybe what we need to do is start a trend where a certain timeslot on one day per week. Lets say 8pm est every wednesday is defend(titan) quests time where people who need the quest can link up.

What we could do we pick the best location to do the defend quests such as TOA for DNK and Yak's Bend for defend Ascalon and so forth. That way people know where to link up at. Maybe we should pick districts as well.

Any thoughts?

When I did denravi and some others I found one group (I think iot was for droks) and when we did that one we went and did as many as we could together. However, I never got last day dawns or north kryta done.

I like the idea, but wonder how well it would actually work (ie. how many people would really show up). I could see myself, once I've finished the quests, coming back to redo them with other groups (if only to make sure winning wasn't a fluke) a couple of times. I kinda enjoyed LDD (did it with 4 people, barely), and I kinda like Denravi as well, I guess because they are quick challenges, so I'd come back for those for sure. The other two are a bit more (time) demandding) as Droknars has you marching all over Mineral Springs, and DNKP is just too scary for me to even try yet (I've heard so many nightmare tales about that one).

Tried to do Denravi again tonight and actually got into a good group (took half an hour jumping through districts to enlist people), but we got toasted just when the boss came up and our monk was dead. We've got each other's names though and will try again tomorrow. ;-)

Duh ... I never got DNKP done because it's just too good a place for solo farming. Best XP in the game and golden drops in abundance. The titans can be quite hard if you aren't well prepared. On the other hand, if you take a closer look at what kind of enemies you'll be facing and choose your build accordingly, then you can just go on a killing spree.

Well, it's quite impossible to fail in doing Defend Dendravi. Don't talk to the NPCs outside Dendravi. That way, if your party gets killed it just autorezzes on the nearby shrine and can go safely back to the brawl as many times as needed. Be prepared to fight with 60DP on you, though.

My main character has had similar problems, though I finally got 3 of them done (still have the ascalon one to do). I had to do Defend Droks with henchies. For Defend Denravi I was lucky in finding a great team who were up for it and knew the tactic of clearing the titans before talking to Avenia. For DNKP I ended in a mixed group at ToA that was too busy complaining about there only being 2 monks, and this complaining continued all the way through the mission to the point where they didn't even notice we'd completed it.

Final Assault in Sorrows Furnace is also proving to be difficult to recruit for (everyone just wants to farm oro), so if anyone's online and planning on doing Final Assault or Last Days (ascalon titan), please whisper Yolanda Cairn and you'll have a lvl 20 nuker who will be more than happy to help out!

I deleated all my tyrians to make canthans (der) because you lvl up a hell lot faster more skills and all that sh!t

And even though i can go to tyria i never do IMO it sucks over there do a rly rly rly rly hard quest and get what 500exp and a crappy rod. IMO cantha beats Tyria 100000%

Factions is not a cake walk but I like the effort needed to get to be a loaded character in prop. Having a lvl 20 from tryia means something-not in factions. Dam I was with my friend and he was lvl 4 ele and he got a green monk drop on the island-dam-that is screwy!!

Yes, it's hard finding people to do the Titans Quests but not impossible. I struggled through the last one "The Titan Source" trying to find a good group or any group for that matter. But I finally got it done with some guildies and Alliance buddies.

So if anyone needs help with those Titan Quests let me know I'll help out since I feel your pain. IGN: Ares Hades

Actually the Titan quests give like 20,000 XP a pop. Course, you're already way beyond level 20 by the time you get them.

Personally I like the feeling of progress in Tyria more. It feels like I can take my time settling into a character, where with Factions I feel like I've got to understand all the ins and outs of a profession much faster. I dunno, I just like the leisurely pace of Tyria, and Factions is mainly an extra playground for my Tyrians.

Oh, and I apologize for doing the impossible, and failing Denravi. :-P
