Nightfall? hmmm... seems like a undead, gothic theme. GW has enough gothic themes with the kurzics.

Edit: No offence to the kurzics I am in a kurzics guild myself.

I wonder if it will be proportionately as small to Factions as Factions is to Prophecies...Yet still cost the same retail price.

Not dissing ANet here, just summing up a lot of opinions on this website.

to bad when i baught GW it was told that there would be new campaigns/expansinos every 6 months, but oh well i can play factions for a while to come :D

Rather than contemplate a NEW campaign called nightfall
i think that they should first fix the numerous problems they have with the one they call Factions, before they move anymore forward.

And you call them steamed hams, despite the fact that they are obviously grilled?

Mind telling me whats so wrong with it? I quite frankly think it is a very fine game. I have both versions, and besides for the smaller size of factions its still a great game. I also see very little flaws with the game besides a few minor glitches. I hope to see a 3rd guildwars, also a larger world for quild wars.

I hope they make the campaign itself bigger. The storyline of Factions is, compared to Prophesies, very short. Where in prophesies there was a world to explore, cantha offers half of it. Also the choosing sides has its pros and cons. Biggest pros in my opinion is that PvP battles really get meaning. Biggest con is that, practically, half the world is closed. You can get there, but i've heard to many: wtf are yu doing here bloody st*** luxon (yes im luxon), that i dont even bother staying in a town there for more then 1 minute.

I hope that with the 3rd campaign the relation between factions arent as 'passionate' is currently is the case.

After the release of Factions, A-Net split the dev team into two separate teams to begin work on Chapter III (Nightfall) and Chapter IV. They will be comming out every 6 months from now on.

Quit the whining about the content would ya? the prophecies content was spread everywhere and took a long time to get to, and (around)60% of the map is useless land!
Factions is alot more tight-spaced, and that makes it more fun because you dont have to run or fight miles and miles of creatures without any story-line significense.
Althoug, i think that they made prophecies with such a large map because they are gonna keep adding content to it, which perhaps somehow refers to the other new campaigns..

:)i hope they introduce skills that do more dmg to certian class's... eg bannish does 100% more dmg to necromancers/undead...

With you 100% hobbesinator! I also have 6 level 20's. I just need an Assassin and a Mesmer to complete my lineup, and I would like to get that done before Chapter 3 is released.

Nightfall does suggest another fairly dark theme. I personally can't wait though.

I've come to see Factions as an expansion to Guild Wars, even though you get a whole new storyline with it, there are items and skills only available to one or the other.

To be me, it seems that Factions has a lot more to do with PvP and allows greater access to it via Alliance battles.

What does everyone else think?

Well it's not coming out tommorow now is it? Also the new game is being worked on by another group of people anyway.

On topic: It's gonna be an african based game. Which is the coolest theme imo ever.

They were probably working on Nightfall while they were working on Factions, why else would they have the name all set right when Factions is released?

I do not have a source, but on another forum, someone posted with a source, and the day Factions was released, NCSoft & Anet patented the name Nightfall. So far, just Prophecies, Nightfall, and Factions are patented, so no news on the 4th chapter.

a north african theme then is it...

well there is supposed to be like a bare-knuckle fighter (probably something on his hands so its not rly bare-knuckles) and some type of dude wielding a spear if i remember correctly.
