On all my toons I have this bind:
/bind enter "afk typing... $$startchat"
But thern came I7. It still works on my existing toons. But I created a new villain yesterday (triumph was down), and my bind doesn't work anymore! I remember somebody saying that this changed on test already, but I can't remember where, and whether there is a solution to it. Any bind guru's out there that know the answer?

Removed the space between the ellipse and the dollar sign and it should work. I just tried it out.

The command I know is this:
/bind enter "startchat$$afk type your text here."
It does still work.
I am still hunting for a command that binds a costume slot. Have had several people tell me them but none I have found work. I know how to bind it to a key, I want it in a bind string of several commands.

The command is "cc #" where # is the slot you wish to switch to.
Now, here's the tricky part: The cc command has to be last in the command string. Nothing after the cc command will execute.
"powexec_name Invisibility$$e flip$$cc 3" would turn Invisibility on/off, make you do a back flip and change your costume to slot 3.
"cc 3$$e flip$$powexec_name Invisibility" will just change the costume.
The afk command also has to be at the end of the command string, or it won't execute. That means you can't make a bind with both cc and afk in it.

Oh goodie!
I'll give that a try!
The need for it to be last is no problem. What I'm looking for is to activate a power or emote and change costume. That should do nicely. 8)

Remember, after you change to a new costume, you have to wait for 30 seconds before you can change the costume again.

That's not what was stopping her, though. Even if you are waiting your 30 seconds, commands after cc still won't execute. During that period, the one with cc first will just do nothing.
