Like everyone else last night. I started running around feverishly with my heroes and villains to see all the changes. I noticed that when a machine gun is fired, the casings stay on the ground longer and move around under your feet when you walk over them. I also noticed the hanging signs on Mercy Island was swinging in the breeze. What other little changes has everyone seen?

Can't say I've noticed much, I've barely been playin a month yet. It does seem to me like the game runs a little bit worse on my PC though. Random hiccups and more lag than I had before. Anyone else seein this? Maybe it's just me.

My Buddy has a Grav/Emp Controller. Last night after throwing a box at an enemy he could run into the box and it would bounce around.
I understand that this is suppose to add to the quality of life effects, but I found it a little disappointing he could do the same thing with a Pool Table and a Car.

This is due to the enhanced graphics that were added with Issue 7. You may have to adjust your settings or update your video drivers for your Video Card.
Edited due to the fact that I can not type this early in the morning. :P

I had pretty good time last night once triumph got up and running. First thing i noticed were the people in atlas doing the new emotes: drink, alakazam, alakazamreact, sleep, and backflip. I challenged a friend to a gladiator arena match, his lvl 50 blaster vs. my lvl 30 brute. The arena seemed glitched badly, as it would either kick us out or declare a winner as soon as the timer finished counting.
Irked with the arena I got my lvl 50 tank out and went to go into the new pvp zone. My sg mates all came out in force with their lvl 50's and we cut loose in recluses victory. We joined up with about a good 30+ heroes, and we steamrolled the place. When the AV's came out, they got swarmed by me, my sg and all the other heroes. I managed to get the black scorpion's wrangler badge, so I was pretty happy with that right up untill recluse dropped me a few times lol. I did see a couple villians lurking about, they either didnt want a piece of the hero army that was here running amuk, or they left the zone.
WIth 244k in debt but feeling quite satisfied,I left recluses victory and went to go make myself an electric brute. Being a sucker for the close up fighters, i had waited patiently for the chance to try one.. . wow theirs alot of costume parts now. I went with the new reptilian pieces and thus Major Gila Monster was born! I only got him to lvl 4, so i cant quite comment on wether i like him or not.
SO the rest of my night I spent in icon giving my main and all my alts a new outfit. That in itself took alot of time, you can get lost now in that costume generator.

Well, I frist went and fixed Dragonflyy's costume on triumph (Finally got him an actual Dragonflyy on his chest instead of a scarab beetle)Then created a whole second costume for him. Then went into CoV and created an electric brute and got him to level 4 before calling it anight. I can't get into the lower levels of CoV, just to damned repetitive. But the electric brute seems interesting to be sure.

4 things.
1. On a few of my characters I do not have the free respec, so I am guessing not cossy changes either.
2. On test the graphics were souped up to the point where SS was almost blinding. I have checked, and my current graphics settings were the same as while on test.
3. Performance is greatly reduced, but that has been explained already, and is probably going to happen with a new issue anyway.
4. My elecric brute is boring. I don't know whether this is my typical brute-bordem coming back or just the fact that I've already worn out the novelty on test.

Also, the Devs will probably release a patch in the next couple of weeks that increases the stability of the game. It's been pretty standard with every major update. I think I5 took 3 or 4 bumps to smooth out the choppy gameplay.

Ah. I was a little confused with the situation on the test. On test the respec seems sporadic, some chars had it while iothers didn't. One of them was a rad defender. He is the one who needed it most, so I logged him on asap on live. When I saw the lack of respec, I assumed the same thing had happened.

I'm stoked about the Ageia Physx addition, but I'm saddened by the fact that the game is still just optimized for Nvidia. My poor ATI X800 XL is struggling to keep up with my Nvidia 7900 GTX in my laptop.
I'll probably buy into the Physx cards once they come down to around 200 and become more mainstream.
Costume options, of course, are very welcome. Changed my cape yesterday on Athos 2.0.... bwahahha!
I still have yet to test anything that they did to the powers though. So... We shall seeee. We shall seeeeeeee...

I reall like the new bullet effects. Now AR blasters and find their way out of a mission without looking at the map, just follow the trail of bullets and bodies.

Bloody hell. I-7 vammped up all AV's. Yesterday I had an "Envoy of Shadows" mission (this was the 3rd mission in the arc, the 1st time the Envoy makes his appearance). Long of a short: 6 man team two of whom were lvl 50 controllers finally took this monster down after 1.5 hours of continuous (yes, non-stop) fighting. The AV Envoy of Shadows kept healing faster than we could deal damage. When it was all over but for the shouting, my toon had 80K worth of debt, and I was awarded 1 (one) level appropriate SO enhancement, 3 pieces of mystical (circle of thorns) salvage and ZERO experience points, ZERO prestige. Needless to say, I am a bit disappointed.

from what I hear this has been the typical reaction to the overpoering of the AV's. I had the same experience last night. Joined a team on virtue with my 45 scrapper, got our heads handed to us twice (Third time I managed to get away while still in "Unstoppable", rest of the team save one or two were not so lucky) We finally had to draft 3 level 50's to help us finish this mission. The devs upped the AV's power to far this time. Not good. I hope they fix this soon, because it's not worth taking on an AV anymore at all. I also heard something like 60 heroes took on Luska tuesday night and lost. Monsters got another huge boost. Ah for the days of I4...

Well...The leaves fall out of the trees now. You can even run through them and kick up dust. WHEEEEEEEEEEE! :P
Y'know, I jumped over to CoV the night of release to check out my Stone/Energy Brute. Apparently, he still sucks. He's a level 21, slotted with all DOs, running 3 defensive auras, and I almost died fighting a yellow LT and a white minion. I really want to get a level 50 villain, but I don't know if I can keep my sanity long enough to make it.
Oh yeah...I don't think any of the Energy Aura shields look more evil. The patch said that one of them is supposed to be darker. I'm not seeing it.

Yes, the giant monsters got a huge boost. I was on a full team (levels ranging from 50 to 24) and we took Lusca on. Generally, one full team can take out the two rear tentacles without too much trouble, but usually cannot get the other tentacles because of their overlap. This time, we did NO, as in not a bit, of damage to her. We were pounding on that tentacle for almost ten minutes and it's health bar MAY have flickered, but that was about it. In the meantime, she was beating us like we owed her money.
I think I will stay away from the giant debt factories until this patch is stabilized.
On a side note, I got called in to help a friend with the AV Infernal, apparently he had been beating the crap out of them. When I arrived, however, we were beating him easily. One of the guys noticed that he had somehow been downgraded to an elite boss, so I guess there are still some patch issues to be resolved.

Well hell...That explains it. Either way, it wasn't keeping me from getting my rear handed to me. I don't care if the freaking thing is hot pink as long as my defense is enough to keep me alive in a fight with even-level baddies. Freaking Brute...

OK here is the skinny:
I just finished an 8 hour day of running CoH. My typical (pre Issue 7) difficulty level was set to "Rugged" and I could solo without dying. Today, with my diff set to "Rugged" I got my head handed to me not once, not twice, but 6 times. This was with "boss" creatures specing out as purps and I blast through every single inspiration carried by my character. Do not get me wrong, I like tougher villains. I just think the reward ratio needs to be adjusted UP. I mean zero experience for defeating an arch-villain after fighting for almost 2 straight hours? I am afraid to run the final mish of the "Envoy of Shadow" story arc (it is now the active mission for my *only* magic origin contact). I have reset my character down to Heroic. I will try the Envoy mish solo tomorrow (most likely because I cannot scare up a team to save my life). If any of you have level 37-38 toons on Champion and are interested in fighting an AV tomorrow, after normal daily maintenence (as soon as the servers come back online) I will be logging into the Champion server. Send a "/tell" to Furon or chat me Global: falcon15
I will report on the difficulty of the Envoy tomorrow.

My team almost killed Recluse the other day! It was awesome! There was about 30 of us pounding away like heck on him though...
Here's something that I think is freaking awesome about i7 though... no more instant toggle dropping! My fire tank can actually act and fight like a tank in PvP - it's great! I love it!

Alrighty then, here it goes:
There was a team of 8 of us: 3 tanks (one of whom was my primary, Furon), 2 defenders, 1 scrapper, 1 blaster, and a peacebringer. The mission is set on HEROIC (this is not a joke or a scare tactic, just the facts). We fought our way to the Envoy of Shadows (Arch-Villain, level 38 for this group). He registered as a purple foe (most AV's did and still do). After several failed attempts to kill the Envoy, of which the first one was the most sucessful (he was down to half a bar of hit points), my toon ended the whole fiasco with 114,489 DEBT. No joke. 2 of the team members, myself and the scrapper (shout out to Porcu Spine) started a team to run the Positron TF until our debt hit zero. Not only did we get out of debt, we completed the task force (the majority of the remainder of the team quit before the first mission ended, and the last person quit after the 4th mission finished). Until and unless the devs redo the AV's/GM's I will be unable to complete this story arc. Sucks. I do not think I will be fighting in any missions that have an AV until this is fixed.
On a side note: We never did defeat the Envoy, and not for lack of trying. Not once.

I've tested everything but accolades so far and there are no XP bonuses for any of them except Exploration. Perhaps someone who'd recieved an accolade since I7 can tell you if they got XP, or I can tell you as soon as Corabelle finishes her Dark Vampyri and gets her Atlas Medallion (possibly tomorrow).
...which reminds me that it's been quite a while since I've updated Corabelle in my siggie...
