i just wanted to point something out from the team we had in-game last night. one member said he was thinking about quitting CoH because he wasnt having fun anymore. then he joined this SG and now he's having a blast.
i wont say who it was but if he wants to then go ahead. i just wanted to bring this up because it's a game and is supposed to be fun. playing with people you know (at least virtually) just makes that experience so much better.
i went on a sewer run the other day with a few ampers and we saw a fire blaster (fire eagle, i think) hanging out alone in the sewers so he joined us and said he had a ton of fun too. i pointed gameamp out to him and he said he would check it out because of our group.

Aye !!! Had a great time last night with Acrtic Huricane. I wish I could've stuck around for the badge mish, but RL has to happen sometimes. Great tanking Big the tank and great blasting Firspray and "mini-me". Had so many heals going on don't know who to say thank you to. But thanks for the great fun. Look forward to leveling up Acrtic Huricane with everyone.

On a side note, we now have two Ice/Storm Controllers on in the SG. That should be interesting in the later levels. Does Steamy Mist stack? :P

i think it does but not 100% sure. i did notice there is a lot of ice and a few stormys out there too. good thing firespray has a mini-fire running with us so they can balance us out.

I'm really hoping that Steamy Mist stacks. I'm thinking that 2 doses of invis just might be enough to cancel out a portion of Gov's ugliness. :P

Double the Ice Patch..... Double the fun! Although Electricty doesn't have a lot of AoE's like Fire, I like to slot Ball Lightning heavy early on. When we run together, we can double the width of the Ice Patch for them to bunch up on, then WHAMMO!
It's almost scary easy running with a group of experienced players like this.
Don't worry Glasher. I'll be getting that Badge for the ones that missed it last night on some alts. The beauty about the Negotiator badge is that I can make a throw away Blaster just to get it. I plan on scheduling the next run at that one earlier. That seemed to be why a couple missed it, they had to go.

It is GREAT running mishes with so much experience. Especially for anyone who is just starting out. That is how learned how to play the game. My main SG was so full of experienced players, I had no choice but to learn how to play the game. Looking forward to running the badge mish or mishes and helping anybody just starting out.

BTW, since someone brought up badges, Houki Boshi has the Fortune Teller mission cued up if anyone in the SG would like to run that mission tonight. I tried to get a team together last night but by the time I got the mission, everyone else except me and HW were logged.

Went on a self assigned suicide mission this afternoon, all that you'd expect from a Military based Meatshield, and acquired all the Badges in the Hollows and Perez Park for the Supergroup TP Beacon badges for the Impending Base. I'll pass on some of the others and let someone who flys take care of say FAULTLINE and BOOMTOWN. I think those may be a waste of time but are the next 2 hazard zone beacons that our members will be able to use. Anyone wanting the Badge Coordinates and names just PM me.

Actually Faultline might not be a waste of time. I hear that zone might be getting a facelift when the devs release the next box set next year.

I have only had 1 mission in Faultline and helped someone with one in Boomtown. I know that there have been rumors of Faultline might get a rework, that would be great. I went and found the badges for tp beacons to both with own Supergroup ( Mutant Marine Corps ) on Virtue and don't know whether they ever really get use, but never hurts either way. I hadn't considered the Mobs, I'll keep that in mind. On Virtue i got those badges from mobs in Perez, but that may be a better choice, not so easy to get lost.

I usually get Soul Binder in the Hollows, Gravedigger in Galaxy City and Gearsmasher in missions, but if you get high enough to hunt in Faultline and still don't have the badges, it's a good place to get them finished. It's hard to take 10 steps without drawing agro from badge work.

If I recall correctly, the devs nixed the stackability of powers like steamy mist that had an effect on visibility... add that with the stealth supression that hit with I7 and sneaking through missions will not be.. in theory... possible.
I say in theory because I'm sure someone will come up with a way around it. =)

Don't worry, brother, I'm feeling the hurt as well. I've been worn out the last couple of weeks, so I haven't been on very often. Every time I log in, half the SG has increased 3-4 levels. I guess my toon is now a perpetual SK.

I made 15 last night by the skin of my teeth (4 xp to spare after my last mis.) YEA! that means I can have an ALT!!!!!
Also I have the fortune teller mis and I'll hold it until a good number of group members are available to do it. I already have the badge but no worries getting it for everybody else.
