Fight For The Future - A Battlefield 2 Tournament

-=Begin Transmision=-
*Salute*

I would like to extend an invitation to all member of the BF2 community who are interested in Superior Organization, Superior Teamwork, and a Battlefield 2 Experience like you've never had before, to apply for the \"Fight For The Future\" tournament. Those who aren't looking to have a kick ass team and just wish to pub need not apply

Battlefield 2 is a game with endless possibilities and a teamwork structure like no other game. Fight for the Future, a Viper Tournament, takes these qualities and expands them in order to raise your gaming experience to a peak. We offer gameplay like no other clan can give. We have evolved from a simple structure with a few friends into a full fledged community of players looking for intense gameplay action.

Fight For The Future offers players the chance to make friends as well as participate in large-scale 32 on 32 player battles every Saturday and Sunday from 2 pm - 5 pm EST

Like most tournaments, Fight For The Future offers players the most realistic gaming experience you may ever find. I will run through the specifics of gameplay and structure in a moment, but let me first focus on the bonuses of a tournament.

Fight For The Future offers every member a free "Teamspeak" slot so that they may communicate directly to other members of their army. This saves valuable time so you can shoot the enemy instead of typing. We also have a state-of-the-art website that intigrates features into the game never before concieved by another tournament. This allows players to check their standings in the tournament, get a quick briefing on all battles, check any and all medals they have been awarded, among various other features.

The ranking structure follows that of the customary real-life military. There are several segments of ranking that I will now go over.

Tournament Staff: The Tournament staff are the ones who maintain the website, teamspeak server, battle servers, practice servers, and weekend battles. They range from various tags.

-[FFTF]TP|Viper: TOURNAMENT PRESIDENT: This is the man responsible for allowing us to form a community to play against eachother. He is the founder of "FFTF" and works daily to make sure that all the player's needs are met.

-[FFTF]VP|HBomb: TOURNAMENT VICE PRESIDENT:This is Viper's Right-Hand-Man and is responsible for making top level decisions on organization within the tournament.

-[FFTF]TA|Wired: TOURNAMENT ADMIN: This is the heart of the Tournament Staff. Wired delivers orders from the Staff to the Officers of each army and explains to them anything they might need to know about the battles. He is also a "Law Enforcement Officer" during the battles, making sure all rules are being followed and any problems resolved.

High Commanding Officers:
These are the people who relay vital information between the Staff and themselves down to the individual companies.

-General: He is the leader of either army. The General will meet with army advisers to work on strategies and a "POA" or plan of action for any upcoming battles.

-Colonel: He is the second in command of the army and will take over in absence of the General. His duties are the same as the General's

-Lt.Colonel:
He is the third in command of the army and will take over in absence of the General and Colonel. His duties are not as heavy as either the General or Colonel.

-Major:
The lowest ranking "HCO". He passes decisions made by the "HCO's" down to the companies.

*NOTE* This setup is a generic setup used throughout most tournaments, however at "FFTF" we leave the actual design of the "HCO's" to the general. If he wants to add more, then he is allowed.

Companies: There are a various ammount of companies in each army, depending on the army's size. There will always be a \"Ground Pounder\" company for those who like to just kill everything around them, an \"Air Force\" company for those who may be fly boys, and a \"Special Forces\" company for those of us who like to be sneaky and go behind enemy lines to blow **** up. The companies are broken down as follows

-Captain:
He is in charge of relaying information from the "HCO's" to the troops in his company. He is also responsible for changing strats for any conditions that have escelated.

-First Lieutenant: He is the Captain's right-hand-man and helps to relay information to the company and organize troops

-Second Lieutenant: He performs the same duties as the First Lieutenant

-Sergeants: There are several rankings of Sergeants. Thier main job is to help motivate troops and support the company officers in presenting orders.

-Corporal/Lance Corporal/Private First Class/Private: The heart and soul of any army. These are the men armed with the guns that get the job done. They have the hardest job of any ranking and always show they are up for the task.

If you choose to join Fight For The Future you will be placed into a random company as a Pvt. From there you may request to be moved to a company with a friend, or a company that best suites your area of expertise. While in battles the more you follow orders and perform admirably, the higher you will see your rank go, as well as earning various ribbons and medals for certain jobs. In the case of a clan wanting to participate in this tournament, we may be able to accomodate you by allowing your entire clan to form a seperate company and work side by side with players from other companies.

Fight For The Future consists of two armies. One army being the United States Military, the other being the Chinese Military.

As I have stated before, if you are into intense gameplay and a community of endless possibilities, then Fight For The Future is the tournament for you.

Fight For the Future - Fighting tomorrow's battles today.
