| Weapons equivilent to the Xoriat blade... |
|

I had been using the Xoriat blade (flaming, +1, anarchic) with a L7 fighter and really liked the "triple threat" damage it inflicted against pretty much everything. It was the best weapon I'd had to that point. I recently had to create a new character and decided to multiclass fighter/paladin. With the alignment change to Lawful Good I can no longer use the Xoriat blade without taking a negative level. It's hard to know from this website's description of weapons which might be truly comparable to the Xoriat blade in terms of damage infliction... Any ideas on a weapon that might be a "replacement" for the Xoriat blade? The character is a fighter/paladin eventually to be 7 levels fighter + 3 Paladin.
THANKS in advance for any ideas!

I can think of two off-hand...
One is Retribution, a longsword that is a quest-reward from Threnal South. It's a +1 Holy, True Law, Pure Good longsword. Yes, that's three effects on one weapon - and it's one hell of a Pali blade.
The other is the Star of Irian. This is an ultra-rare drop found only in the Tempest Spine raid, and only from the Beholder's chest. The Star is a +2 Holy & Righteous Morningstar. The Righteous adds another +2 to hit roles against evil creatures - so it becomes a +4 weapon that deals an extra 2d6 damage with the Holy effect. Amazingly, the Star is only a Level-2 required weapon...
I made one character of mine Lawful Good by mistake - and concidered a reroll due to missing out on the Xoriat Blade... but I gotta tell you that Retribution more than made up for it. I now make my characters Lawful Good by design.
