Liz is Sticking Around

Well, due to a VERY VERY VERY VERY awsome member (DeathFetish), I now will be around Paragon City for another 2 months. So if you didn't get a chance to team up with me, never fear, I will be here!

On that note, let me ask:

If you create a hero and use the big, furry, k-9 templates in the character creator, doesn't that technically mean you're your own favorite hero (or at least your own best frend)?

Nah, the staffers don't get paid, so a paid vacation would be kinda mean to tease them with.

But it is nice knowing I'll be in Paragon City for a bit.

Nah, the staffers don't get paid, so a paid vacation would be kinda mean to tease them with.

That's awesome, I'm so happy for you! For me, I'd almost be sad to have a free month or two :D

You have to understand, when I play, I don't get ANYTHING else done. You may have noticed that my comic still isn't finished and it's been three weeks! Also, my new business (which I really should be working on) has been neglected.

For those who don't know what I'm talking about, they promotionally reactivated all accounts for the weekend so I played my heart out trying to make it to 50 (made it from 41 to 43... oh well).

I'm happy to say I can resume real life for a while until July when I have time set aside just for CoH and I'll be back and dropping money on the SG like I did this weekend ^_^ (can't wait!)

Oh yes, and the comic is now nearly completed. It's an eleven frame colored web comic about City of Heroes. Real comics update every day or week... this one will probably be more like one a month or less :P

I did it for the staff as well as thejeni, I noticed how much fun everyone was having in the game with Liz. I have been on Gameamp for a year now, the first time I got to play online with Liz was this weekend then to only find out she would not be on after this Sunday.
So I thought it would be nice if everyone who knows thejeni from here would now have the same pleasure of joining up with her in Paragon for a little while longer.

Oh & Phase how did I know you were going to say something like that, lol.

Yeah I'm level 47 (and one bubble!). But I don't hope to reach 50. It will happen when it happens. I just wanna team up and have some fun.

My logic is if i ex w/ you guys when you are babies, you get used to my play style. And when you grow up, we can all team together. If the teams keep happening like i saw this weekend, then there will be a lot of you in your 30's here soon like. And I'm sure some will be in your 40's. And well, then I won't have to ex any more.

But sometimes it is nice playing Baby Liz, makes me appreciate full auto even more.

Actually, most of the push to 50 teams I've run on could get the last 2 levels in a weekend. There's some killer experience available in the upper level mission sets. Not farming or PL'ing. Just running missions and keeping busy. You have AV arcs and fully developed toons. The can-o-whupass is wide open at these levels.

Wish I had some high level toons on this server to help you with.

Death Fetish gets a big pat on the back from me too. That's an awesome thing to do for someone.

great news that your staying, n yes you can get to 50 in 2 months. probably the most fun you'll have leveling , battling

Oh I've done the Av after AV after AV after AV thingy. Sometimes it is ok, but sometimes I just want to do a nice normal mision.

If you solo on heroic you don't get AV's anymore nowadays. Not even when you are with 3 people. But since we won't let you play solo, it is going to be AV after AV after AV :)

Of course it all depends on how much time you play, but knowing you do have a life and you don't PL, one week is a bit over ambitious. At level 43 you are only half way to 50 as far as xp is concerned. But you get a lot more per kill, so time wise you are way past. With good teams you might do it in two weeks, I think. But don't rush. There is so much cool stuff in those last levels. Enjoy it. Your Kheldian can wait another week or month.

Well if it waits a month, I won't be able to play the kheldan until next year some time :( I'll have to balance leveling speed with seeing the sights. Of course, I don't know what the sites ARE... I know there's Hami, a few TFs and such. Anything else of note?

Like the Damn in Faultline (and the mysterous TF that was never put in behind it), there are the higher level sewers (where you get to fight high level Cute Cudlies!), there is Eden... words cannot describe how beautiful this zone is, there is the Rikti mother ship in the Crash Site, there is Carnival Town where the freakshow have taken over and done some wonderful decorating...

Um... yeah I'm more of a sight seer than a leveler. I like doing missions don't get me wrong.. but every time a new Zone has opened up to me, I spent many hours flying around exploring it, and checking out all the cool things.... I also want to make sure I have every story arch finished... and... yeah... my list is to long *grin*
