| best armou in the game (factions and prophecies) |

what is it, coz FoW and 15k r same as droks? i want to get summat better! and i heard u can get 120def armours, plate is only 90+10

You must have heard incorrectly. Droknar's armors have the best stats in the game. FoW and 15k are the same stats just a different appearance.

Personally I vote for the armors that add health, available in Cantha, as the "best".

Kaeneng Center and Droks.
All armors have other mods, depending what u like would be ''the best''.
If you don't want to waste money, don't buy 15k and FoW armor. Same stats as Droks/Kaeneng just prettier. :)

It all depends on you. If your frugal, droks will work. If you are a highspender, then 15k or fow, it all depends on what look you like. I just have droks, but thats because I'm a cheap@$$

Droknars, 15k, and FoW all have the same stats (as do all of the armors in Kaineng and beyond in Factions as far as I know). Among these, imo there is no "best", there is only a best compliment to your build or what you intend to do with that character.
I apologize if this doesn't completely answer your question, as I am a little confused by your last response.

There IS Sentinal's armor in factions that gives 100 defense against everything (but -20 armor if you have less than 13 strength), but other than that, no, you can't get straight armor with 120 defense rating.
You CAN get more than 100 armor if you use skills to beef it up, but that isn't the straight armor. Actually maximum armor level is in excess of 500, but that requires a E/W and R/Mo both on the same team along with a N/Me or 2 on an enemy team, with the E/W equipped with Kinetic Armor, Armor of Earth, Ward against Elements, Ward against Harm, Watch Yourself!, Dolyak Signet, and Armor of Mist with 16 Earth magic and 15 Water Magic (for a total of +280 armor vs. Fire damage on top of 80 from a Pyromancer's set), and with the R/Mo equipped with Convert Hexes, Fertile Season, Shield of Regeneration, and then other skills (for a theoretical maximum of +215 armor to an ally assuming 2 enemy Necromancers each stacking 8 different Necromancer Hexes on that ally), and with each N/Me equipped with 8 Necromancer-based Hex spell. With all that, the ele would have a total of 575 armor vs. Fire damage.

Actually, for warriors there is \\"Leigionaires armor\\" 80 +20vs phs, +10 stance so 110 vs phs while in stance, my favorite, plus, Finally! MAX CHAINMAIL WOOT!!

actually i dont knoz if im right or not, buuuut it seems that ur each piece of armor adds up. if u take a piece off u take more damage. so technically if u have 60 armor a piece and all of it then it adds up to 300, but like i said i could be wrong.
The Characters under this account are currently taking a break from Guild Wars. For the time being, I am diverting my time to Star Wars Galaxies. *don't worry i will be back when nightfall comes out*

I might also be wrong here but anyway.
I believe that the peice of armour is only taken into account when that part of the body is attacked, as for magic, it totaly ignores armour unless you have something that gives +5 armour against elemental attacks or something. Thats why some times if I can't afford an entire set of armour I buy a peice that I know will be attacked by my enemy.
The only thing that can give armour to any part of your body under attack is an off-hand item like a shield.
Hope that helps a bit with some confusion.

The best armour is available from Droknar's Forge and Kaineng Center.
Also, there's 1.5 Luxon and Kurzick armours available in Cavalon and House Zu Heltzer.
As to what the best looks and stats are, that's up to you. IMO, for my warrior I like Berserker's Set, which gives you bonus HP. ( I think I wear a Knight's Helmet...don't remember.) I like the Canthan set look-wise personally, it dyes very nice and has a pretty Asian look to it.
