RE: proffesions?

First aid is a secondary profession and you can get three of them plus two primary professions. So pick up cooking and fishing to go along with first aid.

For primary it is a matter of taste. Most rogues will go with herbalism/alchemy to make lots of potions they can use and gather the materials for their special thistle tea. Some take skinning/leatherworking so they can make their own armor.

However, I recommend becoming a material gatherer. That means you pick two gathering skills (i.e. skinning, herbalism, or mining) and just gather raw materials to sell on the auction house. Take the money you make and buy whatever you want.

RE: proffesions?

If you want to make money, then yeah, two gathering skills comes in handy, but if you want to make stuff then leatherworking is probably the best choice. I'm a 300 Elemental LW and a 310 Skinner and I don't really regret it. It really depends what you want out of the profession though.

But yeah, First-aid comes in handy definately. I use a ton of bandages.. perhaps too many. LoL.

Cooking and Fishing are also nice to have... but they're not really required on any character, but the food you make in cooking can be helpful.
