Ok, ya know how they have those shirts that say something along the lines of "Out of my mind, be back in a minute." Well, I'm thinkin if there was one that said AFK or /AFK or something along those lines.
It's a baby of an idea, but maybe someone else can take it and run with it.

heh how about an upside down /AFK and on the back it says if you can read this please put me back in my chair. or something like that....would be kind of funny.

I'd buy an AFK T-shirt! That's what I am all the time anyway. AFK. Why not make it true outside the internet!
