Well i dont know about 2 mil, but that sword is worth around 1 mil easy.

hmmm well u guys arent obviously up to date on guru auctions so i will say it now.
Last week a perfect crystalline sword, yes re8 15^50 and all, was going for 1 BILLION. No joke. the bid started at 10 gold had almost 100 bids.
idk if it was a joke but it was insane

that is totaslly insane 2 million in ectos. hasecto got this low in it's value since i left?
whoever buys this will be ripped offr eventually. the -10 armor while attacking lowers the price of this sword to preety much, but the req. covers it up, so ppl are only looking at the req. instead of looking at the downsides the sword has.

how do these transactions take place?
A character can only hold 100k at a time, so you have to do this on faith or is there some type of established, anet-approved procedure?

The Golden Phoenix Blade is the rarest sword in factions. personally i think the skin is ugly. thats why i sold the req 9 14^50 one that i found on guru. I put s/b at 35k and it ended up going for 180k! I really was surprised considering it wasnt a 15^50 and it had garbage mods on it. For those that pay the stupid crazy money for the so called perfect rare weapons, i ask you to remember when serpent axes were rare and going for 100k+ for a sorry purple one. anet screwed 'em and made it a common. I'll laugh my butt off if they do the same to the GPB in chapter 3.

i was just looking through that auction, first off, it says the only payment method is ecto, which i guess is understandable....but at the very bottom is says the exchange rate is ecto= 1k....is ecto really down to that low of a price?

That is a fairly unknown thing, it's about the rarest skin in factions I would imagine, so I don't think there's one particular place where they drop.
