Thought this was interesting
AP article about a clinic for video game addiction.

now we just need an upgrade from addiction to a disease and we can all get disability checks and stay home playing instead of working.

A very interesting concept. If this does become a disease, I would like to have back pay, effective immediately for my disability! I've been disabled for years according to the article...LMAO!

I will get to work on it. But it really isn't funny on the fact that people die if they are addicted enough, they just go into a shock, stop eating and drinking and just die from starving and such.

Now come on. I'm as addicted to games as the next guy, but if someone lacks the will to stop playing long enough to grab a bite to eat or drink, then I can't say I have too much sympathy for them. It's sad that society has turned into such that people feel the need to blame external influences for all of their problems.

I will have to agree on that one. If you can’t even get up to eat or for that matter use the bathroom then someone needs to take a bat to your head. Much like the gang war Thugs Do, or maybe, maybe zap them with my radiation burst, maybe even call up a dark servant to do him in….oh yeah…just like the game….my precious, precious game.

Now correct me if I'm wrong but they don't die of starvation or anything like that.
Most of these game addicted people die of heart failure. This comes due to an excessive amounts of gameplay without any breaks. These game junkies stay up DAYS in front of a computred without leaving for anything else but to take a leak or so. They stay up by drinking tons of caffeine and energy drinks.
But these energy drinks and stuff can't keep your organs in good shape so they usually die of heart attacks that's caused by the lack of rest.

Do you think youd really die from it? As long as you get out some you'll be fine. Hey im addicted to this game, i mean christ i dreamt i was in it last 2 nights running (which is really unhealthy). But there is no way id stop eating ever, im hungry 24/7 :P. Probably because i do triathlon training everyday, woo fun!
