Someone posted something that made me think which has led me to make this post.
I have 4 20s all of them are protectors of Tryia and apart from a couple of bad days I as a rule are quite good with.
With monk I know I am quite good at healing but I have not tried 55ing yet and I know little about protection and smiting.
With my warrior I am quite good with a sword and and one on one battles in pvp I found I am quite good with it and win much more then I loss with the rest of duels being near draws. As a runner I am not good even though I ran snake. I can't truly tank against trolls and such yet but I hope to change this soon. What has made me a good warrior is my use of the sword and my smart game play as I have never been called a noob and some have asked if they can add me to friends after a mission or quest. I do well as a warrior ranger with my drago flatbow, my pet, and my green bludgeoner
With my mesmer I have been given many compliments yet I still have much to learn to be called an elite mesmer. I can use illusion and domination well but I have only recently gotten into inspiration. I am very good but just not an expert yet. I have killed many warriors in pvp with my mesmer which I think is a good test along with killing a healing boss while that boss has a monk with it.
My ele is my best character of which I really know how to make it sing. Still though I have not gotten serious with earth yet and still need to give some of the new skill from factions a honest go with. I have done some amazing stuff with my ele that has had me being added to friends lists. I recall one Quest where 2 warriors were being noobs and got everyone but me as an emo killed- I soloed the mobs on me then rezed the team in manner that was impressive-the warriors did as I said after that. Mending saved my life that day against a shit load of spiders. I apart from earth consider myself to be an elite with my ele.
So with all that said I can rate my characters as follows:
Ele-expert(9/10)
Mesmer-expert(8/10)
Warrior-good(6/10)
Monk-good(7/10)
please note that 10 is complete expert in all skills and you can to all that can be done with your character, even if you have not really tried, but are confident you can with a short practice time.
Ok-rate your characters and how well you can play them.

I'd say all of my characters suck horribley, and so i rate them all 1. all except my ranger that i rate a 5

My monk is definately my best character; I'm an excellent healer, and I've picked up enough from some of my friends who play bonds and smites that I can play them pretty well, too.
My war I'm intelligent enough to know how to not rush and how to tank well, and he's my favorite character in pvp because I've learned how to avoid attacks and bother enemy casters, or to tie up enemy wars when they bother MY casters.
My ele... I know how to manage energy with him. That puts me a cut above MOST elementalists that I've met, who just rely on killing enemies with one massive spell combo and die if that combo DOESN'T kill the enemies.
Mesmer is my favorite character. There's nothing quite like totally disabling an enemy and being able to say, "they aren't a threat anymore," or being able to honestly know that they are going to die soon despite the fact that they're at almost full health and that there's nothing they can really do about it. Still, I tend to be a bit overeager with her and so I die a bit more than I'd like.
My assa is something I need to work on. I simply can't deal the amount of damage that I'd like to without leaving myself overly vulnerable.
And then my necro... I just get fed up with everyone expecting me to be a minionmancer. I CAN be a minionmancer, but I don't enjoy it... I prefer blood magic and staying in a supportive role (Wells are fantastic for helping healers out).
The two times I've made a ranger character, I hated it because it was so terribly boring. They basically just sit there and use one set of skills over and over and over...
Ritualists I haven't played since the preview event. I played it for less than an hour during the preview event. I absolutely hated it during the preview event. I never intend to play one again.

Monk and War: 4.5/10 (haven't played them much yet, but I'm not to bad at war and im a decent healer.)
Necro and Ele: Still doing basic quests, lol
Assa: 3/10 still trying to figure out how not to die
I'm thinking about making my Assa over as an Assa/Monk instead of Assa/Ranger, what do you guys think about it?

well, havent played this for a while, but i can still make my rating depending of my 10 months...
Ranger(10) (yes, i've done it all)
Assassin (8) (almost there)
Warrior (6) (suck at pvp, love farming)
Elementalist (3) (really bad as an ele)
Mesmer (7) (casn do both gd pvp and pve with mesmer)
Necromancer (9) (i can manage greatly a necro, as good as a ranger, but with more degen and less melee damage lol.)
Ritualist (1) (totally suck at rit)
Monk (5) (can only farm and pvp, cannot give support)
i think i covered them all lol

Mo/Me : 9.5 (you just cant be perfect). Very good healer espicially in FoW
W/R : 9.0, just started back to play with it, but Im quite a good tank and one of the too few target caller these days
N/Me : 9.0, Echo SS, Defile/Desecrate Ench FTW...
These were my 3 favorites char. and I've played a lot with them.
Now the others :
Me/N : 6.0 and still learning. not ascended yet. Interupting is fun but hard to master... but I will get there
R/Rt : 6.0 and still learning, in Faction and just arrived in The marketplace
Rt/? : Cant rate it yet.... still in Faction "Pre-searing"

I only have a bunch of experiance with my elementalist so I'm not really sure how I would rate myself on others. I do however feel that I have enough experiance to be over an 8. I never have much trouble solo farming and when I do FoW runs nobody ever says I'm doing something wrong.
