You have to watch out for the prices in-game on a regular basis and you have to know the rarity of allot of weopons. Aslo a big thing is that You need to know how much people want the specific weopon.

If Gold, Keep. If Purple, Merchant.

Check for similar items on Guru Auctions.

Establish an average.

Subtract 100k.

Accurate PC.

That's not always the correct thing to do. It could be the other way around. For example, I've gotten a purple Vertebreaker req. 8 20/16 Sundering 14^50 which I sold for 45k. And the other day I got a FDS req.11 19<50, armor +6 against elemental damage which I gave to the merchant.

Or subtract 100 ectos. ^ ^ The other day I've found an auction where a bidder bid 100k+25 ecto on Urgoz's Longbow.

i second that, i will NEVER sell an item for over 100k

to me no item is worth that much.

100k or less is my limit to sell or buy. And i still make lots of money and get the items i want.
