| Do the devs Play the game? |

Do the developers of the game actually play the game? I wish I knew which server and characters they were because it would be neat to meet and play with the people that actually made the game. Could you imagine the possible convo's to be had...
Player: "Oh dude that kobold is so realistic"
Dev1: "Yea the guy that made him is really neat, let me send him a tell, telling you think so"
Player2: "This is such a cool dungeon"
Dev1: "Oh this is my work, you like much?"
Player2: "Oh man we are getting our faces pimped off"
Dev1: "Hold on let me contact the server...there we go, chibi kobolds for us to fight. Have fun"
Edit: Of course I guess this could lead to a lot of grief for the DEv's from all those who don't enjoy the game.

I've seen the developers in the game at odd times - or when solving in-game problems. You can tell who they are because they all have a plus-sign before their names - like +Sandra for example.
And of course, they hosted several Player Events during the Beta... and I wish they'd do those again. It was always fun to see them ask people in the Lobster if anyone wanted to see their new "pet". It was the first time I saw a Beholder. hehehe
So far as I know they don't play the game per-say... but if they do at all, I'd suspect it's on the invite-only Mournlands testing server.

I would be cool to play with the devs but like En said I would really like to see some more in game events. Maybe at least for every new full module to showcase something... like a mindflayer invasion for this next one, something like that that would be very cool.

I'm sure the dev's have character's they play incognito... That way they aren't desturbed all the time by people asking them questions.
In game events would be awesome! But I don't think they will be having any, any time soon. It takes quite a bit of programing.

Actually, the Trivia-Events needed next to no programming... It was just two Devs using the World chat tabs to broadcast questions that anyone online could answer. The only programming needed would be to award the XP they were giving for correct answers. They also caused random-loot to drop during the D20 of Many Things event... I scored some good drops when my party found a Dev in Water Works. :)
So, they already have the mechanics in the game to do *some* kind of fun events... they just need to get around to *doing* them.
My personal thought is that Turbine is shuffling a lot of staff to LOTR:Online - and that is killing any hope of these kinds of things.

Actually LOTRO has it's own complete staff. They have had them for a while. Turbine is working on getting Module 2 out, that's why they aren't doing in game events.
