For those of you that didn't know there was a site, that everyone would use for all of their CoX usage for badges, and maps. This site was vidiotmaps.com. Recently this site was being sold. There was also Badge-whore.com and Badge-hunter.com, each of these were sister sites to vidiotmaps.com, dedicated to just badges. Now I am not for sure about these sites, but I am pretty sure that the badge-whore.com site was sold to three fans of CoX and have been upgraded and continued. I know that Vidiotmaps.com, was trying to be sold but i am not for sure. But here is the thing, since Friday, June 30th, the vidiotmaps.com site has not been up. This wouldn't be a problem if it wasn't for the fact that i know that their would be so many people getting on this weekend. Most of the badge hunters. So here is the tthing. Does anyone know why this is happening? I can't get to their forums to ask anyone what is going on.

since those sites are being sold, they haven't been updated at all and pretty much just sit. I go to City Information Terminal or www.cityinfoterminal.com. They have been updating a lot since I7 and have all new accolades including ones that vidiotmaps.com doesn't have since they haven't been updated in a very long time.
But I do have to say that the Forums on Vidiotmaps is very nice and that has new maps.

Ya I have been using that site as a badge checklist recently, but here is the thing. I am trying to use the maps, and the sites for vidiotmap, has been updated recently. It is just I would like to know why the site is not up while the others are?

what vidiotmaps or badgewhore? i didn't know badgewhore was up and running again (just checked) and vidiotmaps i dunno the map patches have been updated a lot lately but the maps on the website haven't which don't make sense.

Not sure what is up with vidiotmaps.com but I do know that there is a new mappatch available. Just go to Badge-Whore.com and scroll down some and there is a link to click. And if I remember correctly, both sites where sold to the same group.

Ya if only the people in charge of that site could fix it! I mean I loved the maps and all but I can't get any of my exploration badges with out that map! I could certainly use the mappatch off of badge-whore.com, but how are you gonna know exaclty where they are?

You do know that Badge-Whore = Vidiots, right? The map patches are what you need, AND the latest one has the locations of the Mayhem Mission Exploration badges in there too. It's all good. I havent asked the guys, but I think they are putting more time into Badge-Whore/Hunter than the Vidiots side of the site.

Vidiotsmaps is all still here just may be a little buggy while they get it all settled in its new home.
The previous owner got a very good job in May and move on.
Clicking interactive and the map you want will work.
The badge-whore people are assuming responsibility for updates but its a slow transition.
Their forums from the link above detail it all and offer an area for questions.

Ok. vidiotmaps.
According to information provided by the new owners of vidiotmaps and her sister badge tracking site Badge-Hunter.com (also known as BW), vidiotmaps is down b/c of the company that was doing the hosting went out of business and they can't contact anybody to get vidiots up again.
However, both of the badge-tracking sites, Badge-Hunter.com (for work, no censored names) and Badge-Whore.com (both lead to same place) are up and running. They also have a temporary place that has most of the info of vidiots.

From this site, you can see most, if not all, of the maps for CoX, which show exploration badges, histories, contacts, TF contacts....
Also, there's the issue 7 map-pack available:

You can use Badge-Hunter.com to check badges (where are they? what are they for?). on the right side of the main page, you'll see a list of the different types of badges. click on one, and you'll be taken to a list of all of the badges in that category, and you should be able to find your way from there.
