Brute in Paragon City!!!!

Yep, look at it close... that's a real Brute in Atlas Park! No this isn't Recluse's Victory, this is the real Atlas Park! I was on my lowbie, Fire/Fire Blaster Fire Unit, and I was doing a run through to a mission when everyone was talking about a Brute was in CoH. I thought it was just talk about the ability to switch heroes and villains, but no... there really was a Brute in AP. Now this was on Triumph, and I don't know if he's still there cause he was suddenly TPed into Atlas' Globe where a GM Police Drone was talking to him... there was like one person who was able to float outside the globe, a PB, and I guess they were able to listen in on the convo.

Apparently there is a glitch that allows Villains to get into the Heroes Base and allowing Villains to get into Atlas Park. He wasn't able to kill any heroes, as you can read on the image (hopefully its clear enough to read) to my little witty remark about it at the end.

I can verify that this is 100% true. Not only did I team with him, I used Recall Friend to earn him all 4 Atlas Exploration badges. The devs eventually asked him to log off and he did. But yes he was trapped inside the globe, until I saved him.

That's awesome that he was able to earn the Atlas exploration badges, he's the only one, that I know of, as a villain to have the Atlas explorations... lucky bastard. I wonder how much he couldn't zone to other cities and earn those badges!

There was one other that I read about 2 or so weeks ago. But, he didnt even make it outve City Hall before he was asked to log off :(

More importantly, how did the devs find him so fast? And could he have run into another zone? I'd have taken off to Perez. Lots of badges can be had there very quickly at level 42.

First question, a GM TPed him into the globe to keep it "secret" that he was there.

Second question, when he first entered Altas he wasn't able to move and /stuck wasn't working. He /bugged and that is how they found out.

I know all of this because I chatted with him for a few minutes about how it happened when I TPed him around Altas Park.

I am back in COV now.

Small clarification- when I crossed over I BECAME a hero. My infamy was influence, my id was a Paragon City Hero ID; I could even get contact missions. At first I didn’t do anything while I waited for a fix but as days wore on I got fed up and started to play. =)

I went to bloody bay when it was crashed for several hours trapping people in it and any who entered. My buddy Imeco had asked me to help clear some turrets there, I entered bloody bay to help and promptly got stuck. I did a standard petition and the GM moved me to Mercy. Logged into mercy, screen froze for half second. It unfroze, and all villains went from blue to yellow. Then, an Atlas load screen came up and I was in COH.

I got lucky and was sent back in a rather remarkable, dramatic fashion. I was in COH long enough to go from start of lvl 43 to 44 and was less than half a bar from 45. I was there a total of 8 days or so; maybe 9. Kinda embarrassing that I didn't keep track in retrospect.

The tell said Lord Recluse summons your presence or some such to Atlas Park under the globe. I headed there immediately where she made me wait for a few minutes and of course, the longer I stayed in one spot the larger the crowd gets. She appeared after a suitable crowd has gathered, asked how I came to be there; I improv’ed and said a temporal shift occurred in Bloody Bay sending me to Paragon. She then started to very, very slowly kill me. I purposely had none of my 5 def/ dam resist toggles on so I am fairly sure this was on purpose. This belief was added to when some of my friends and others I didn’t know who were 50 attacked her; Ghost Widow promptly one shotted them all while I continued to spin in mid air. Low lvl chars also attacked her and met a similar fate. After I finally died, I hit the hospital button and like the first time in Mercy, the screen froze for half a second, then all the blue heroes turned red before I loaded up back at the villain hospital in Pocket d. Ghost Widow teleported me to some remote corner or Pocket D, thanked me for playing along, and asked if my issue of being stuck in COH was resolved to my satisfaction. I told her it was a total blast, she told me I could keep my hero badges, and left. Later, my friends told me that I had a gold temp name above my head Ghost Widow had apparently given me, Unforgiven.

While she killed me, I kept broadcasting, “Forgive me” =)

Someone made a video of me getting sent back, it a tad fuzzy but gives me nostalgic fuzzies nonetheless.

A while back, there was a MM who left the tutorial and popped out in Atlas on Freedom, I believe it was. Anyways, there was a huge thread going on the main boards about it for weeks, and it seemed the devs let him stay in CoH for quite a while, though I don't know if he's still around.

There were also rumors of a controller in CoV, IIRC.
