Did you get the dvd version? Did it work?
If so consider yourself lucky.
Just got off the phone with Ebgames and turns out there is a "widespread" error with the second dvd disc. My local EBgame employee and I discovered that all of their 2nd dvds had the same scratch marks, making them respond with a component transfer error on file data8.cab. A call to EBgames confirmed our suspicions of a prevalent manufacturer defect.
So my options are to wait a week for a new dvd or trade-in my CE edition for the normal CD edition. Guess I'll miss out on the baby dragon. :(

Ouch, dude! I'd be livid if I was in your shoes... that sales clerk wouldn't have been going home tonight until I got another copy of the game (ie CDrom version but keep the Collector's edition cdkey).
My DVDs came in perfect condition... patching the game right now. *twitch*

I feel for ya Nestor, waiting is one thing, but getting and it being broke is another. I would have to start drinking or something.
of course I am always looking for a reason to drink :)

Man, I'm sorry to hear you had such a problem. I guess I got lucky, because I went to EBGames in my town and bought the DVD version and had no problem loading and running. I agree though, you need to have them exchange with a copy that works, and if it is even possible, you should get the DVD encryption key.
I played for a few hours last night, and I will say that it was plenty of fun! Pretty much like all MMOs as far as newbie training grounds, but very smooth, good tutorial, and the voiceovers are nice!
Here's hoping you get your problem resolved tonight!
