well, im going to first state im a kurzick and have never seen the luxon side of things. i play as a air spiker. whenver im in alliance battle there's SO many luxon ranger touchers. this build probably might not be as cheap as IWAY but still, it gets annoying. to survive is probably to nuke them, or interrupt. rangers usually are the people who use BOWS to defeat opponents...

ok i am luxon so here is our side of things, you (the kurziks not u personally) have no right to complain about useing touch rangers, cuz the kurziks use them just as much if not more then the luxons, i was in a group the other day and i was ganged up on by 3 at the same time, there was an entier group of them there but i had just managed to kill 1 (revenge i suppose :P), my point is, kurziks are just as to blame for useing the cheap touch ranger build as the luxons, it's not 1 sided u know.

I hate touch rangers. One time I was with my air ele and I got so fed up with this one 3 touch ranger/1 boon prot group that I just chose 1 toucher and used gaile about 10 times until i had 5 energy and the rest exausted. It annoys me! This is the most annoying, most unoriginal, noobs of all noob builds I have ever seen. Iway is better than touch rangers!

i have no problems killing touchers with my guild as long as there arent more than 4 people in the group attacking us bassically i make a high dmg hammer war my friend plays a boon/prot and then we get some sort of high dmg caster and 1 other and since their defence against wars are blind and whilring def i bring irrestible blow so they get kded when whilring is up and plague touch for the blind and typically if my team is together we can kill them. Ive played on both kurzick and luxon not a traitor just my guild join a kurz alliance and i dint like the kurzicks so when that guild died i joined my friends luxon guild and i can say there is basically an equal amount of touchers more on the kurzick side i actually think. Thats prolly why luxons are on the losing side of the fight more than the kurzicks because people dont know how to properly handle the touchers and kurz have more or they seem to.

well, in my case, i haven't seen much kurzicks doing touch. i've played several consecutive games and in all of them, i chatted to all if the kurz's and luxons have touchers. kurz's usually had 1 or 2 everytime i went up and dthe luxons would either 1) insult me (get pwned etc etc) 2)reply back at least a group(4) 3)ignore me.

theres just as many on kur's side as there is on lux's side. ppl use it cuz it heals while u do dmg,and prot spells dont work on it. sry for flaming but dude....think of a build to kill them instead of posting about how bad they are? i know,i know,they only use 2/3 skills,at most 4....complete waste of a build imo and can be killed so easily,but u gotta love the idea behind it,even if its abit "nooby"

i'm sure if i did exactly the same thing as you did (being a luxon)imo, i'd prob get the same response with 'suxon' added onto the end.

I have no problem killing Touch Ranger on my Cripshot ranger... just Apply Poison, cripshot the touch ranger and repeat. You won't lose one health from him.

both sides use it, both should be ashamed of themselves for doing it :)
its rather amusing actually ... as its quite easy to shut down if you have a mesmer around
in AB, you see touch rangers
in HA you see IWAY
in FA or JQ you get EoE bombs
its just another "i cant think for myself" cookie cutter build that id like to slap the person that posted it and corrupted the rest of the GW world :)

a bit off topic, but i love how when something works well its "noob". i dont use one myself but there all so easy to counter.

touch ranger is a spammer build. Get a mesmer (oh how many problems have been solved with those 3 words) and tell him to use Diversion with arcane echo. That would be his 2 spamming skills (his/her damage AND healing) disabled in 3-6 seconds. Also to really annoy put in arcane larceny and arcane thievery. Maybe blackout and echo would help disabling.
I made a touch ranger once, had some fun, got bored. I prefer assuaslt trapping fort aspenwood and putting eoe up near gunthar. I put up a guide for my build.
