How Many badges do you have?

I have noticed a friendly rivalry to see who can get the most badges within the SG and I figured we should post a "standings kind of thing. Just say your toons name lvl and badge count and I will try to keep a running tally. When u get more either edit your post, PM me or add a new post (bumps help) and I will change your total. And everyone is welcome to post their totals (that means you jeni) as long as the toon is in the SG.

Awwwww man, you mean I have to actually count them? I know I have over 200 (I'm a proud owner of trailblazer). Next time I'm in game I'll take a screenie and get them counted.

Lol I think I have about 40, at lvl 23, I haven't really tried to get any specifically, what's the use of them anyway?
Besides being able to shout out the highest number in a forum topic like this?

some of them give you powers/bonuses (i.e. the Atlas Medallion gives you +5% to your total HP). these are accolade badges.

most of the others are worn with pride and grant a slight boost to one's ego and bravado.

It is also nice to be able to take a break from fighting villains and go collect something *grin*. And I love the reactions I get in game when people check out my badges!

Come on guys take 3 min and get an exact count, not aboout 130. Be competitive, show who the best is, but be honest too.

well, i had 124 at level 26.

as of last night i was level 27 and i got a bunch more, but i've been at work since 6am(got up at 430) and will be until 530pm and wont get home until 6 so i cant really count how many i have. but wait, let me think about this one...

...thinking...

i added citadels Tf, slayer, silver bullet, 2 gladiator badges, atlas medallion.

so now that you must know...

I HAVE 130 BADGES ON THE NOSE!

and this is the last count you will get out of me.

Most people need variation to keep liking a game, so I guess these kind of things are good for that purpose.

It gives my level 50 something to do, and can be addicting in its own right. On most of my toons I usually just get the badges that lead to accolade powers.

My main toon is my badge hound, lvl 50 MA/SR scrap w/ 339 badges. :) I'm just missing 4 epic badges for healing and influence, bug hunter (which I don't think I'll ever be able to get), and the 6 Halloween badges, which I hope they bring back this year!

My heroes are almost all anti-heroes. I don't do uniforms and I don't do badges. Although, more than a year ago, when I got my first toon to 14 and I got fly, I came here to gameamp and looked up all exploration badges. I was so excited I could fly, I was looking for any excuse. But other then that day, they are not spent on me. Once I even tried to return a badge. But the red tape as city hall stopped me from doing so.

A: Bug hunter is only GM awarded. in theory, it's awarded for finding and reporting a game-breaking bug. there is only 1 known instance of bug hunter (that's been awarded legally) and that was b/c somebody found out if you sold everything in the base, and bought it right back, it didn't cost anything to buy it, but you made money for selling it. so there were SGs with umpteen billion prestige out there.
(yes, this bug is now fixed, don't try it at home)

B: mearly as a road map, this topic was for characters in the Gameamp SG.. not any toon, anywhere.. :D

Otherwise, i'd be seen screaming all over this topic about DC with his 336 badges, INCLUDING IMMORTAL. :D

now phe, we have a problem. its not mandatory, but we like everyone here to have as much flare as possible. you only have the minimum 78 pieces of flare, but ya see smiter over there? well, he has over 200 pieces of flare. now, we cant penalize you for wearing the minimum flare, but we strongly encourage you to wear more. :)

Oh, and badges? Sadly, I had to remove my characters from the SG, due to the fact that I barely have any play-time anymore, and when I do, its mostly on Gnome. :(
